Had issues getting out of the parking. The machine just took my pass and no one could assist so was 30 mins late to a wedding. Had to pay for parking to get out which they refunded at checkout.

It is a very comfortable property, and the staff are accommodating! It is the prime hotel to be in if you are using public transport. (The Yellow Line might as well be in the lobby)

The parking was terrible, too far from the hotel and complicated to find and expense payment for parking

Hotel is very nice inside. Looks like it has been recently renovated. The pool was not in service as they are totally redoing the pool area. Hotel is connected to a centre. Main occupant is the Toronto library. You can get to the subway without going outside. Breakfast had a large selection, lots of hot items.

The whole trip of 5 days was mostly destroyed by room condition of this hotel and the treatment by Expedia. The room i first checked in had a musty smell. The staff were friendly and agreed to change for another room the next day. But The the room was still not smelling good and i decided to check out after two nights (moving to a substantially more expensive hotel during PDAC). This is when the trouble starts. I was supposed to be refunded for two nights or at least one night. When i checked out the hotel told me i needed to talk to Expedia for the refund because the fees were paid to Expedia not the hotel. But the hotel and expedia are still kicking foodball to each other and no side seems to care about the client they claim to serve.

I didn’t feel comfortable here. Just felt dated and gross.
The carpet in the room is gross, the shower leaked every time you used it, the towels are mediocre at best. The staff was ok but when we asked for towels, we got a rob instead. The surrounding area is good for food exploration and access to the highway. Other than that I wouldn’t come back here

Convenient location near a major grocery store, subway station, movie theater and lots of small restaurants. And no other hotel options nearby.
But the hotel has had moldy grout for years and rather than fixing it, it appears that they just re-caulk over top of it. The rooms are very basic and the restaurant menu uninspired.

No problem with front desk staff. Other e.g. dining room staff, seemed unorganized and not weĺl trained. No valet parking available. Self parking available but garage underground is poorly lit and signed and frankly a nightmare to get around.

Clearly they have shortage of personnel. I don’t say they are not friendly but the front desk was not welcoming at all.
I’ve never was charged for early check in. I arrived at 12 PM. Several rooms were empty and they charged me $30 to have the room at that time or stay till 3 PM. This had never happened to me before anywhere else. I travel a lot.
Anyway, didn’t like the overall atmosphere and will not come back here. It is more 2/3 stars hotel.

Very convenient to Line 1 of the subway. Limited places to eat in attached mall. There are little to no USB charger stations.
