could not ask for a better hotel,all the staff were so friendly and the room was great.we will be going back again, cant wait.
“Definitely a good place to stay”
The Novotel in Mississauga provides all the facilities one would require (i.e. swimming pool, fitness, etc). The hotel is conveniently located a few minutes from Square One shopping mall, which is a host to many major stores. The room itself was very comforting and was kept to high standards. Overall this is a hotel I would recommend to anyone. I would definitely stay here again.
“Good hotel with plenty to do”
Seems to be in the heart of the Missisauga business district. But very close to shopping mall & the Playdium (which is what we came for). It's close to the airport (10mins taxi ride, around CDN$35).
“Please avoid this hotel”
This hotel was a nighmare. Firstly, the room advertised on expedia was not what I got. The reception area was very tidy and clean but this was to deceive unsuspecting guests. As you go up to the floors, then it all becomes more realistic because what you'll see include smelly hall ways, many room service trays with left-over food left outside of rooms for hours,and noisy ice-maker machines. This hotel needs a lot of renovation. The bedroom itself was slightly comfortable, although the window blinds could be washed more often and the water system was in deplorable condition. The WC in my room blocked out on my second night, and you can imagine what happened afterwards -- "flooding with excreta". The maintenance man came up within minutes to fix the problem but I just couldn't get over that ordeal. The breakfast ordered to my room made me sick because I thought the chef must have rubbed raw eggs on my croissants. Well, only stay in this hotel if you need somewhere to pass the night. I wouldn't recommend a long term stay. One good thing about the hotel was the complimentary wireless internet connection. Everything else sucked. It's too far from downtown toronto. Good luck.
