“it is pretty good”

perhaps it was a new receptionist but signing in seemed just a little too difficult. At first glance the room seemed nice...roomy....but the shower had hair in it from previous guest. I

“Great for overnight stay”

Good location off highway, shops around, rooms were comfy but was in basement so kind of a musty smell from carpets, but you get used to it or just spray some perfume. Other than that all was good for a nights stay. Clean, quiet and convienient.

“Canada”

It was fine, quiet and clean. It gave me a deal thru the Expedia "mystery hotel" feature. The breakfast in the morning was fine; no hot stuff but adequate. The only issue was the plug in the tub was stuck on shut - hard to figure that the maids wouldn't notice that one as the tub stays full. ??? (I've noticed recently that otherwise nice looking hotels in the mid price range frequently have minor issues with the plumbing, heaters, doors, locks etc. It must be the economy, but they seem to ignore stuff these days.)

Ticat games are cool, but traffic in this area is getting bad

“Good hotel to avoid Toronto traffic”

Easy access from the highway. Very short drive to the GO train station, or you can walk it. Not a great hotel, but solid.

“Restaurant service not great and "buffet" breakfast really meant Continental. Disappointed & pricy.”

The hotel itself is great, I would give it a 4, but it lost points in the restaurant. We ate dinner there and were very disappointed with the food, the service as well as the buffet breakfast which wasn't hot food at all, just a "fluffy" continental breakfast. The room, the location, all of that was wonderful, however.

Area recommendations

Oakville Place Mall is around the corner, the Go Train as well, if you need to go downtown. Oakville the town itself is very handy. Great location.
