“Howard can you do better?”

Location was great! Hotel needs upgrade. The room was business class, large size but with old furniture and TV. Bathroom small. Overall very average.

If you are looking for a good price and good location this can be a good hotel for you. Close to the subways,restaurants and shops.

“money for value”

Excellent price compared to the rest of the other hotels in the area, more than 50% off in the adjacent parking (but no in/out benefits), very attentive reception personnel. Rooms are ok, space is more than necessary, but hallways look like as the structure hasn't received maintenance since a while.

“Great neighborhood for a budget hotel”

This was the 2nd time staying there and it was about the same as last visit. In other words, a place to throw the bags and crash for a few hours. Being in Yorkville, you have a great neighborhood to stroll around in, people watch, shop (if you have a Platinum card maybe) and just maybe spot a celebrity. Parking is cheap but limited spaces are available around back. Transit is nearby, as is a mall. I believe the only Internet access is in the lobby as there was zero access on my floor. Over all, don't expect much in the way of decor (there was a cheap extension cord running along the baseboards and a vintage tv converter, as well as a missing closet door) but the area is safe, the reception was great and free coffee, juice and croissants in the morning ain't so bad.

“old but clean”

a little short on staff, and definitely in need of a reno, but great location, decent price and clean.

Bloor st (once you get past the expensive, trendy shops) and Kensington Market!

“" Convenient to everything but lousy accomodations"”

Well where should i start , The heater did not work in our room And it was 20 degrees outside !!! I slept in my under armor and a sweat shirt to stay warm!!! They did nothing about it when i complained!! the bathroom was so small i could hardly get dressed in it!!! And the water pressure was horrible it trickled out of shower head!! Would NOT recommend at all!!!!!!!

“nice hotel, friendly staff”

My sfay at thr howard johnson hotel in toronto, ca went very well. Did not stay in room except to sleep so not a lot to say.

“Very welcoming and comfortable”

A very hospitable hotel which was welcome after a long trip. Only slight issue was the room was perhaps a bit cold.

“Not impressed”

Although it is cheap, it is very run-down and my room did NOT have internet access although I chose the hotel specifically because they advertised free internet access. The man at reception had no interest in helping me with this problem. I guess you get what you pay for. I would not go back.
