the hotel it self is clean good service close to eating places and shopping areas it has it own restaurant and bar.

“A wonderful stay”

For the rate I paid, this was by far the best hotel I ever stayed at. Most importantly the Cleanliness of the hotel/room was perfect, staff extremely helpful and pleasant, and the breakfast was great, especailly the cafe - what a beautiful and smart presentation. The room seemed larger than standard hotel rooms, and it had a kitchinette which was great. Also, the location cannot be beat, seemingly a million restaurants and shops all within walking distance, loved that there was a shoppers drug mart across the street. Would recommend to anyone, will definatley be back anytime I am in the west end of Toronto or Brampton !!!

“Best Value Around”

After reading some of the reviews I was a little hesitant,however the price seemed very good for a Howard Johnson.What a nice surprise,staff were great,really helpful,hotel was older but very clean and spacious.Perfect location for my needs,no pool, but, had free wireless internet and an okay free breakfast.I will definetly give the hotel another go.

Great hotel for price (discounted rate promotion). Nice lobby, breakfast area, nice front desk girl on check-in. Nice room. Low lighting in shower/toilet area but ok by sink. Bed kind hard but overall great hotel. Was surprised based on low price.

“Good deal, hassle free”

first room that we checked in had a missing window pane so they quickly moved us to another room without any hassles. second room was nice and spacious but the wall of the bathroom's tub looks like it could use some scrubbing. the staff was excellent and helpful in giving directions. plenty of parking. hotel was across from convenience/pharmacy store and within walking distance to many restaurants. complimentary breakfast buffet had juice, instant oatmeal, fruits, bagels, mini muffins, and mini donuts. near Toronto and parks.

“My in-laws liked it”

I booked this hotel for my in-laws who were attending a convention in the area. My in-laws really enjoyed their stay. They said the room was very nice and comfortable and they enjoyed the continental breakfast on both mornings. It made for a really nice weekend for them and I am grateful to the Howard Johnson for making their stay very comfortable and nice. The only snag was at check in. The hotel did not have record of the booking when they arrived at 12 am. As I was not with them, I had to try to resolve the matter via phone. After talking to the hotel and making two lengthy attempts to contact expedia, the problem spontaneously resolved itself. Neither the hotel staff nor expedia were able to explain what happened. To be fair, I had made the booking for them at approximately 7:30 pm that evening, so this may have just been a by product of booking at the last minute. My in-laws had fun and so that is enough for me to give the hotel a thumbs up.
