“Comfortable and clean”

I am a former resident of Toronto so I know my way around most of the time. The only negative I have is that Best Western needs to work with Expedia to correct the postal code. While I knew where the hotel was located, my GPS sent me in the opposite direction since Etobicoke has Toronto postal codes. Other than that, I was greeted immediately on arrival; my room was spotlessly clean, the hotel was quiet and more importantly, even though close to the airport, is NOT on a flight path so I slept well. I enjoyed my dinner at Shebeen's - an Irish pub just down the road. The plates are generous and the staff friendly. No complaints whatsoever with my stay and I have already recommended it to others.

Area recommendations

Because the weather turned nasty, I didn't realize there is a bowling alley next to Shebeen's as well as a chinese restaurant. Next time I'll check out the restaurant. In the summer, Centennial Park has an excellent golf course. I prefer to stay at hotels that are not in the immediate downtown area of Toronto.

Events and shows

There's always something happening: Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre on Yonge Street; concerts at Massey Hall, Roy Thompson Hall, ACC etc. You just need to decide where you want to go.

“Learn what DO NOT DISTURB means!!”

Hotel staff doesn't understand what the "do not disturb" door hanger means. On more than one occasio they tried to barge in without even announcing them selves! Thankfully we had the latch on the door. Management was notified but it was obvious they did nothing to rectify the issue.

“very convenient location”

very convenient for transit passengers like my wife and me. they offer shuttle service to airport and the breakfast is over standard. The staff was friendly specially Ilsy (from Guatemala). She made us feel welcome.

Although we are not on the airport strip, we are only a 7 minute drive from the Pearson International Airport. Also, due to our location relative to the airport, there is very little air traffic resulting in a very quiet hotel. We are happy that you were able to appreciate this and had a sound night’s rest. “conveniently close to the airport”

That's what we needed after a 12 hour flight from Israel. One thing for sure, the continental breakfast needs a little bit of improvement. Overall, it was a pleasant stay! Thank you - 'till next time!

“Great Place Close to Shopping”

We needed a place that was close to shopping, yet wasn't as pricey as the downtown hotels. This was a pleasant surprise and was only minutes from Sherway Gardens.

“Good Place to Stay”

We stayed at the Best Western Plus on our way to Great Britain. The hotel shuttle was prompt and the driver(s) friendly and courteous,particularly on the return trip to the airport. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful to us. The breakfast was good though somewhat limited. We will be staying again on our return flight.

“Good Hotel but little costly”

Hotel is good close to the international airport with good connectivity to the downtown! If you need to extend the stay then the hotel doesnt have any consideration for the package that you have availed with then they will give you the current rack rate which is Hiiiigh! Overall its a nice place to be. the breakfast has a little variety to eat and is the same over the days as you stay. Check out the the other hotels in the same area you may end up getting a better bargain! * This opinion is my personal and may not hold good for others. Please check the actuals for yourself.
