“Very small rooms, no wifi”

Definitely a 2 star hotel with extremely small rooms and no wifi service.

“EXPENSIVE, BUT GOOD LOCATION”

NEAR SUBWAY, TRAIN STATION AND GINZA IS VERY WELL ITS LOCATION. EXPENSIVE GOOD SERVICE, NO GYM NO SWIMI.

“Close to Tokyo Station...inexpensive”

This hotel was inexpensive and convenient to TOkyo Station. It's location enabled a delayed flight arrival and an early train departure.

“Can't beat it for location”

The Yaesu Fujiya is a great hotel for location, as everything is in easy reach. In particular it is only a five minute walk to / from the train station, making it very easy to get to and from Narita using the Narita Express. Have stayed in this hotel before and will do so again when next in Tokyo.

There is a Pauls diagonally across the road - great if you don't like Japanese food for breakfast, although be warned that Pauls is open from 10am to 10pm so you need to buy breakfast (croissants etc) the night before and eat in your room.

“Good hotel - good price for the area”

We only stayed one night at this hotel, but found; the location to be good (close to the Tokyo Station), it was clean, comfortable and the staff were friendly.

Area recommendations

Great location - close to the Sony Building, Imperal Palace, Tokyo Station and much much more.

“What a great hotel”

What a wonderful hotel, very handy to transport, great staff, great room, cheap internet in the lobby, 7/11 outside the door, who could ask for a better hotel right in the middle of Tokyo (lots of great places to eat in the surrounding streets) and tons and tons of shops

Getting around

Try the subway, easy to use (just ask a person to help) - if you get the chance try the bullet train

“Great location”

As expected the room was small but the location of the hotel is great, some couple of blocks to Tokyo station. Transportation is conveinient from and to the airport and within Tokyo. It is walking distance to Ginza. There is a convenience store right outside the hotel.

Area recommendations

Ginza and surrounding area is a great place to stay with nice shops and restaurants and well communicated via subway.

Getting there

You can buy a Suica pass it includes round trip between Narita and Tokio to be used within 14 days. It gets to Tokyo station, from there is walking distance to the hotel. It also includes some 10 subway rides (depends on the zone you are travelling to). The other option is to get the airport limousine, there is a stop at the hotel. It has the option of single or round trip to the airport and 1 or 2 days of unlimited subway travels.

“Location for Tokyo station for travelling around Tokyo was excellent.”

Excellent friendly service, very clean, English speaking. Great location for travelling around Tokyo as 5 mins walk from Tokyo station. Only small downside, rather cramped and perhaps in need of a little updating on accommodation floors.

Area recommendations

Harajuku for teenagers - Camden like. Studio Ghibli museum although a little far outside Tokyo is well worth a visit at Mitaka.
