“Best value in Tokyo”
Very convenient because of direct limousine bus from/to airport. Excellent service wide space.
“Amazing hotel with incredible view of Tokyo Tower”
Very fine but very affordable hotel located at the base of Tokyo Tower. The staff are very friendly and all speak English. Their internet service is not free but is available at a low cost. The hotel also offers a service called "Greener Cleaning Service". If you decline cleaning in your room for the day, they give you a coupon for 1000 Yen that you can use in the hotel shops and restaurants. Taxis are standing by out front 24 hrs a day. Also, across the parking lot, is the Omarinon Subway Station on the TEOI Mita Line. I really enjoyed my stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Tokyo.
“Tokyo Prince Hotel”
We only stayed one night but wish it was for 10 nights. We were upgraded to a king room. It was large, clean and comfortable. We have stayed in some higher dollar hotels but the staff of this hotel exceeded almost any other hotel we have stayed it. Free shuttle to and from the train station was a plus.... Beautiful lobby and we were greeted each time we entered whether it was from outside or from the elevator. For the price nothing could have been better.
“Lovely large room and perfect location”
This hotel was in a great spot- out of the hustle and bustle of busy Tokyo and yet only a 5 minute walk away from business of the city. The main JR line is also only about a 15 minute easy walk through interesting streets and harbour is only about an easy 20 minute walk. The limousine bus is an excellent way to get to and from your airport to this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness of this room after many of the reviews we had read about the size of rooms in Asia. The hotel itself is not new- I would say built in the 70's, but it would have been a flash hotel in those days. Great pool for swimming in the heat - cost 1000yen to use for the day-thats about $15nz.
“Large rooms in a somewhat old hotel”
The hotel is very large, and the same is true of the rooms. My room was the largest I have seen in Japan, by far, along the line of large rooms in American hotels. The room was quite clean, but the furniture was old, and the decor was from another era. Basically it looks like this was a top-tier hotel some decades ago, but it has not been renovated ever since. That did not bother me too much, and I appreciated the ample size of the room. The location is fine, esp if you want to visit Tokyo tower and the nice temple next to the hotel, although it is some walking distance from the train and subway stations. There are stores and restaurants nearby (including a Starbucks).
“good value”
Hotel was clean & comfortable, just what we expected. Warning, if you need the shuttle bus in the morning, book it the night before. It was full, so we had to walk to station.
“View of Toky Tower from room hard to beat.”
We reserved through Expedia, but since it was post-earthquake the hotel actually offered better deals. We had a view of Tokyo Tower that was incredibly beautiful at night, and there was a French restaurant next door comparable to places back home.
“Very run down”
The Prince must have been a nice hotel 30 or 40 years ago but it really shows its age. I don't see why new Prince hotels are being opened in Tokyo while this one doesn't get any investment. We enjoyed a good rate but I don't see how they could charge more for a tiny room where everything, except perhaps the TV set, looks like out of an antique shop.
“Excellent hotel in Central Tokyo”
The friendly and coureous staff at the Tokyo Prince hotel made me feel very welcome. It is very handy for a few subway stations and is also nearby the Tokyo Tower - which is a great landmark. One tip - when you buy a ticket to watch movies you only have to buy one as it gives you 24 unlimited access to ALL movie channels! This was a great thing as I could watch SALT and other movies. Overall the hotel is clean, rooms are of a decent size, and again staff could not do enough for me. They even took my luggage up to my room when I was away sightseeing earlier in the day. They also provide an airport limo to Narita airport for a reasonable fee.
“Satisfied, the hotel is not too luxurious but OK.”
Additionally, the hotel is also have the Bus Limo pick up service which is convenient for the stay and our traveling from Narita to Tokyo Prince Hotel.
