“Small rooms, top of hill”
Affordable and convenient to Akasaka metro station, but at the top of a hill, with small rooms. A decent selection of restaurants along the main road, and about twenty minutes walk to Roppongi.
“Good deal for the money”
The hotel was very nice. The rooms were the smallest hotel rooms I have ever seen, but were very comfortable. The staff made several recommendations that were excellent choices. I only have two complaints. the breakfast wasn't very good. If you are near the closing time, the pickings are slim. But the dinner we had there was good. It would be much more convent to have wireless access in the rooms instead of only in the lobby I would definitely recommend this hotel
“B gets an A”
Great hotel, good staff, internet worked great, would stay there again.
“Great Hotel”
The b Akasaka was great. The room was very clean and very well designed. The bathroom was stocked with amenities, tooth brush, hairbrush, q tips, disposable slippers etc. There was a high speed internet connection in the room, a nice desk with a great view. The look is very modern and clean, the space, although small is very well organized. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The included breakfast buffet included both western style and Japanese style foods and was very good. The spa was also very good. All in all a very positive experience.
“b akasaka - a great place to stay!”
Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful! They spoke english, which was a beig help. They helped us call a cab and confirm tour reservations also! Very nice people who take care of you during your stay. They also helped us get to the airport hotel bus which doesn't drop off or pick up here, but at hotels nearby. We had daily breakfast buffet which was very nice, hot foods like eggs and bacon included. Rooms were small but nicely appointed, with good showers and comfy beds. Also each room has an ethernet cable for connecting to the internet free of charge.
“Great centric stay”
Small rooms, yet it was a very good stay overall. I'd definitely come back
“Perfect Tokyo hotel, right location, right price”
It was not as easy as I thought to speak English in Tokyo; however, the staff at b akasaka had a very workable knowledge of English and were very helpful. They made restaurant reservations for me and helped me with all my questions. I booked a single room and it was very small but this room size in Tokyo was pretty much what I was expecting. The room was very cozy and comfortable and really it was there for me just to sleep and take some breaks from the urban jungle. If you are traveling here as a couple, I believe the hotel has rooms with 2 beds (not sure if they have actual double beds). Definitely don't book a single bed room for 2 people because the one bed rooms contain a very small twin (single) bed. Very modern and comfortable bathroom in my room and the room was very clean. The entire hotel property was clean. They had vending machines and a coin laundry. The laundry was very helpful as I was able to tidy up all my clothes before packing them away for my departure. The hotel had a restaurant which had a decent western buffet breakfast. You can sometimes get it included in your room rate; however, I did not and paid separately. I believe it was about CAD$8-10. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again. It is a very quiet area of Tokyo, the Akasaka neighborhood. I loved the city, the people were very nice, polite and this hotel was just perfect in terms of location and price.
“Has all you need”
Close to Metro station, clean & compact. Although room size small (we are in Tokyo people) everything you need is there. Staff were very friendly and helpful, free internet available in foyer, close to restaurants and cafe's, not far from Rappongi Hills (Tokyo City View). Highly recommend.
“nice and quite”
The b Akasaka a very nice and quiet hotel.
“Calm in Tokyo's madness”
A nice, calm place to stay in Tokyo's governmental district, with helpful staff. There's plenty of restaurants nearby, but you're not really in the thick of things in Akasaka – but you've got Roppongi just down the road (in Tokyo terms) for nightlife.
