Me and my friend stayed at this hotel for two weeks. I'm in my late 20s while my friend is in her early 20s.
This was both our first time in japan. We arrived early morning at 11am, after getting into Tokyo station we decided to walk to the hotel, with the help of google maps I managed to pick up some signal to see where we were in able to locating the hotel. It was a little difficult at the end but we managed to find it in our second go. It was roughly a 25 min walk from the station.
We were greeted by a staff member at the desk who stated check in wasn't till 3pm, but we could pay an additional 1000 yen to check in now. As we were so jet lagged we decided to pay and get into the room earlier.
The lift needed your room key to work and we did have trouble with it occasionally but after speaking to a member of staff she sorted this out for us.
The cleaner was so nice and even showed us where our room was when we arrived.
The room was small but I was expecting that. It was clean and modern. We had a non smoking room on 6th floor with a double bed.
The bed fit us both in and was really comfortable, only thing I found a little hard was the pillow which seemed it had beads within it making it crunchy.
The bathroom was tin, but again I was expecting that. The toilet was modern and was one that had a warm seat which was good for those cold days. Shower was excellent and very powerful and warm. You got big bottles of body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Also within the bathr

A really nice neighborhood! The hotel is conveniently placed a quarter of a block down from the Toyocho train station, can't miss it :D. Across from the hotel is a pretty awesome convenience store with everything Japanese you could ever wish to find. Hospitality was wonderful, the rooms were comfortable and clean. Everyone worked hard at the hotel, thank you and good job! If you can't speak Japanese (thankfully I could XD), the people are able to speak English :). I would definitely return to this hotel! There are other Fresa Inns in various cities in Tokyo, Toyocho is just one of the many Fresa chains.

We stayed here for a week in July - this was my first trip to Tokyo and I thoroughly enjoyed it! The hotel is in a great spot close to Kayabacho Metro station (literally a 1 minute walk) and also within walking distance to Tokyo Station (about a 15 minute walk). The hotel was great, very clean and friendly staff - the room was a little small but that's what you get in Tokyo. We had a semi-double room and to be honest the bed was bigger than I was fearing so this was great. The room was cleaned every day to a high standard - a nice extra was the Ladies cosmetic pack you get upon arrival as well as the little extras in your bathroom.
I would thoroughly recommend this hotel - fantastic value for money and in a great position.

Was pleasantly surprised by our comfortable stay here. Room was clean and appreciated professional appearance. We had two adults (5'4" and 5'5") and it did feel like we had to dance around each other in the small space (we booked a semi-double room-nonsmoking) but I personally felt that it was rather cozy and didn't mind it. There's just enough space between the bed and bathroom to open the bathroom door and no closet. But we were so exhausted from the day's itinerary that we didn't spend that much time in the hotel anyway. Staff was pleasant, could converse in English, and helpful. Easy access to JR Yamanote line from Hamamatscho station or other railway lines from the Daimon station. Free wifi was a plus, as well as the breakfast for a small fee, since we found many shops don't open until 10-11 am and we were up at 7-8 am due to jetlag. Hotel is close to Family Mart, 7-11, and Sunkus, which are all shops to pick up snacks and beverages. Although we got lost, the sign for the hotel is easy to see, especially since it's lit up at night. If you're heading west from the Hamamatscho Station, cross that big street Daiichi-Keihin, and you'll see Sunkus on your right. Keep walking and turn right right before the Mos Burger. Keep going down ~3 blocks and you'll see the hotel on your left.

Fresa Inn has a very convenient location, about 5 mins walk to the Tamachi train station. It is surrounded by various restaurants and bars and a 2 minute walk to a Lawson 24 hr convenience store. Around the area, you can dine in ramen restaurants, shabu shabu, and yakitori bars. Fresa Inn is very clean, amenities in the room are complete, the bathroom tub and toilet are both very clean and functional. In each floor, you can access the movie rental machines and the wifi signal is strong and has fast internet connection. They also have their own restaurant at the ground level that serve nice food. Ambiance is nice, hallways are quiet and well lit. Overall, it is a very good hotel.
