“Great place to stay in Tokyo”

It is located in a business district but in walking distance to Giza. Great place overall with great restaurants in the same building. Also direct access to subway. We got a great offer on the room through Expedia, highly recommend this hotel.

“Clean, Affordable and Great Location”

This hotel was a great value. It is a ten minute walk to the heart of Ginza, and is close to many great restaurants. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

“Best Customer Service!”

Highly recommend for their exemplary customer service. Their entire hotel team is very courteous and helpful. Location is ideal, close to Tokyo Station, and within walking distance of many shops and restaurants in Shiodome, plus Ginza is also within walking distance (and via underground too, in case of rain). Hotel is peaceful with lobby on 25th floor with a great lounge and City view. Don't miss the breakfast buffet.

Area recommendations
Recommend Ginza for shopping and experience; also, recommend Shiodome (and City Center) for many restaurants and shops. Try Katsukura (tonkatsu) and Tsunahachi (tempura) in Shiodome.

“Reasonably Priced, Clean, and Convenient with Good Location”

Park Hotel Tokyo is a very good hotel with consistently good service and is very convenient to several rail lines. It is within walking distance of Shinbashi JR station and several intersecting metro lines. It also has an Yurikamome train station directly adjacent to the hotel. The Park Hotel starts at the 25th floor with good views of Tokyo Tower on one side and the shinkansen and local rail lines below. Breakfasts are excellent and are held buffet style in the main lobby. It is a very quiet business hotel for the most part with very comfortable rooms.

“Great hotel and location”

Very nice and modern hotel. We had a surprisingly large room for Tokyo and had the choice of a sea or city view when we checked in. It is a bit of a walk from Shimbashi station, but all underground so still very convenient. Staff were very pleasant and conversational and only wish we could have stayed longer!

“Wonderful hotel”

This is a great hotel in a very modern part of Tokyo. It is conveniently situated close to two subway stations for easy travel to other parts of the city. The staff are amazing - they are so keen to help. We had an beautiful view of Tokyo Tower and Mt Fuji. I have stayed in this hotel 4 times and would definitely go back.

Area recommendations
Ginza - for shopping Mitaka - for the Studio Ghibli Museum
What to pack
I would suggest bringing a variety of clothing and taking the layered approach as the weather can change quite a bit throughout the day. I have been in Tokyo in the spring, summer and autumn, and it can rain or be very warm and sunny at any of these times. Umbrellas are very cheap and easy to purchase in Tokyo.

“Cold February in Tokyo”

PARK HOTEL- LOBBY IS ON 25TH FLOOR WITH AN AMAZING VIEW OF THE TOKYO TOWER. Easy access to Shimbashi station ginza line, yamanote line all there just take elevator from 25th floor to B2 and walk underground through the Shiodome center. Very upscale area. grocery store at the shimbashi station. AM/PM in basement. check in is easy - first room was suppose to be non smoking - it wasnt. called down and the bellman brought new key and we went down a few floors to a nice smelling room. WHite chairs in the rooms are a little worn and dated. I have stayed in this hotel many times and its very easy to come and go. Get a corner room if you want more space.

“Good value! Not for timetimers but good hotel Tokyo standards and excellet location.”

The hotel was clean and the staff very polite. Good thing was meeting the guy from England named Christ very informative. Hotel was clean and neat. Got a room with a nice view to the river. The view to the city is most expensive and not worthy. You can see Tokyo tower, the high rises and even Mount Fuji in clear days from the lobby. Though the room was very compact according to Tokyo standards was excellent. Good service. Location is excellent if you are no planning hit the city late night. Metro services stops at midninght. There are plenty of restaurants and bars around most of them underground which is good during winter time. But if you are planning to go out to night clubs, restaurants, etc in Ropongi or Shibuya better stay close to those areas. If I have to come back I would book it again with Park Hotel as long as the price does not go up.

Area recommendations
Ropongi for fun, Shibuya to get into Time Square mood, Ginza for shoping though I didn't, Akahibara was the great discouragement (it is supposed to be good for electronics, there is nothing like here I compared two cameras apple to apple manufactured in Japan theye were 30% more expensive than the price I paid here. Some of the sellers do not even know ipads and they are more expensive there. May be it was the good one for electronics in the past, but you can get a simple picture of why Japan is not the second in the world economics anymore.

“Excellent Hotel, would definitely recommend!”

This was our second visit to the Park Hotel, this time for our honeymoon, and we were just as happy with the service as we were on our first visit. The staff are helpful and the hotel is comfortable, clean and located in an ideal place for shops and travel connections, with the basement of the hotel being 5 minutes walk from Shimbashi station. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone planning a visit to Tokyo.

Area recommendations
Daikanyama is great for nightlife, this is the location of the club from Lost in Translation. Harajuku is good for shopping and Odaiba is good for entertainment.

Ginza, Tokyo, Japan: High on opulence and popularity, Ginza was one of the city's first districts to implement Western-style brick buildings and gas lamps. Set in the heart of the city, it is the place for those who don't mind crowds, and serious spenders. But it takes very little to see Asia's largest fish market, a traditional kabuki play, or the latest gadgets at the Sony building.
