“Budget Ginza Location”
Perfect location for Ginza shoppers. Station and all central destinations are nearby. Good for short business or shopping stays.
“Affordable convenience”
Right above Tokyo Metro subway station but easy walk to major department stores and other train station. Huge room with adjustable air conditioning. Non-smoking room WAS non-smoking smell. Speedy, polite check in. Happy to store luggage after checkout. Secure lift to room floor. Close to 24hour convenience store - only negative, unfortunately not many other restaurants nearby after about 8pm.
“Good-sized rooms for Japan”
Clean, good-sized room. Very comfortable bed. Good choice of food for buffet breakfast. Could do with better coffee though! Lift shaft drops directly into Ginza-itchome subway station. Hotel is an easy 20-30 minute walk from Tokyo station.
“Great hotle”
This hotel is in a great location , walking distance to several train stations. The room was a good size and very clean. The staff were very helpful with some of our enquires and getting directions etc. I would probably try a different area of Tokyo next time, just to have a different experience, but I would recommend this hotel. It is next to maccas if you just need something easy.
“very good choice”
We spent two nights at the Mercure in Ginza and it was very comfortable. It was a little tough to find when we first arrived coming out of the subway with all our luggage. the staff was great and the area is nice. Similar to 5th Ave in NYC or Michigan Ave in Chicago.
“Large rooms for Tokyo”
Clean, efficient, etc. with no problems. The only special note that I have is that the rooms are very large by Tokyo standards for the price. Room size was more like a European standard, than Japan, but much smaller than USA standards.
“Excellent service”
I can't say enough good about the front-desk staff at this hotel. From helping us arrange for taxis to identifying which subway train to take to calling the taxi company to retrieve the iPod my daughter left behind, everyone we worked with was helpful, courteous and professional in every way. We booked three rooms for me and my family. All were well-maintained and had excellent air conditioning. The laundry service was prompt and returned when they said it would, if a little pricey (though probably not for Tokyo). I would definitely recommend this hotel for business or family travel.
“Good cost-benefit”
Nice location, really close to the Ginza Shopping Area. Walk distance to the subway.
“unexpecgtedly large room for Tokyo hotel”
I thought it was really nice. The room was much larger than I had expected. Location was convenient. Would probably stay there again.
“The Best Affordable Ginza Hotel”
This hotel was great. It's in a great location right in the heart of Ginza itchome. You're surrounded by high-end shops and shopping galore. The rooms were very nice for what we paid. Everything was very clean and the staff was also nice and helpful to us. Their English was pretty decent, and their brochure said they also spoke French and German, maybe Spanish too. It still helps to learn some Japanese though before you go. Subway access is also very convenient. The hotel's B1 is actually direct access to the yurakucho line, and you're about 700 yen by taxi away from Tokyo station if you need to go in that direction. All in all, great hotel, and I'd definitely revisit next time.

Area:
Ginza, Tokyo, Japan: High on opulence and popularity, Ginza was one of the city's first districts to implement Western-style brick buildings and gas lamps. Set in the heart of the city, it is the place for those who don't mind crowds, and serious spenders. But it takes very little to see Asia's largest fish market, a traditional kabuki play, or the latest gadgets at the Sony building.
