Fairly good location.

Posted 06-Nov-2014
About 10 mins walk from shinjuku west exit station. we got lost on first time & took about 20 mins. Big establishment but reception desk service can be more helpful. We got the deluxe room which is fairly big room size that's good enough for 2 big luggages & good space to walk around in the room for 2 persons. Room is clean. Convenience store at 2nd level if u need to get something. Overall, acceptable. Shinjuku station provides good access & connectivity to most tourist places.

Good, convenient with great views!

Posted 04-Nov-2014
Pros: everything
Location: Very close to Shinjuku station and to a vast area of restaurants and departments stores. Great views of Mount Fuji on a clear day! :)
I stayed at keio Plaza for the second this month on my second visit to Tokyo. This was my last night before flying back home and it didn't disappoint. Staff are very efficient and speak English fluently. They organized our airport bus for us and breakfast was a delight. It is a very large hotel, with many guests as well as facilities for weddings and conferences, however everything works like clockwork. Location wise, it is a mere 5 minutes away from Shinjuku station and finally, make sure you ask for a room on the last top 10 floors. The views of Tokyo (government building) and Mount Fuji (on a clear day) are breathtaking!

Lux King in South Tower

Posted 23-Oct-2014
Pros: Excellent location, excellent baggage handling, excellent bedding
Cons: Club lounge offerings not world class. Expense too high for late checkouts but the did take care of my luggage when I had to wait for a late flight.
Location: Nearby the Shinjuko restaurants and bars. Close to several train stations. Excellent bus service to airports.
I can recommend this room as just spacious enough with excellent bedding, bath and TV. While I do not have experience with other hotels in Tokyo, from other reviews this is a large living space. I must say the club room is is not very good due to sub standard wine and no liquor being offered. The beer was good and cold and soft drinks were available. The food offered was in very small quantities and disappeared quickly. I can say the club breakfast, in a ground floor location in the main tower is excellent and well worth the expense of the club level room.

Perfect location

Posted 20-Oct-2014
Pros: The staff are friendly except for an elderly fellow in the concierge area who seemed lazy to explain directions to us.
Cons: Train your "older" staff i guess.
Location: Location is perfectly situated near restaurants, shopping areas and transport hubs.
Great friendly english speaking staff. They would go out of their way to make sure your questions and requests are fulfilled. Keio's location is perfectly situated in the Shinjuku area close to restaurants and shopping areas. It is very close to the subway station making it an ideal location for tourists like me.

Great location and friendly staff

Posted 22-Sep-2014
Pros: Location, value and general appearance.
Cons: The rooms are a little dated but for the price it was excellent value.
Location: Location is amazing, the area is scenic and overall Shinjuku is a more relaxed environment than say, Shibuya if that's what you like.
A great place to stay in Shinjuku. 3 night stay. Pleasant check in and out, helpful staff and all with great English.

Nice friendly hotel close to restaurants and bars

Posted 08-Sep-2014
Pros: Staff, comfort and location
Cons: Main bar "Brilliant" was a bit old fashioned and needs a face lift
Location: Location was very good for walking, shopping and eating out
My wife and I recently took a holiday in Shanghai, Tokyo and Beijing. During our time in Tokyo we stayed at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel itself was very clean and comfortable with a variety of eating places contained within the building. The bar / lounge on the same level was a bit out of date (would have suited old men in blazers and cravats) but there were other bars on the top floors of the hotel. The location of the hotel was ideal for walking to shops, restaurants, bars and public transport. We would stay there again.

Close to downtown.

Posted 31-Aug-2014
Pros: Handy to lots of downtown activities. We were there to be handy to the Fuji Mountain Guides trip to Mt Fuji and found it a very nice place.
Cons: Wifi in the main tower was intermittent, couldn't hold a connection longer than a minute or two. Maddening.
Checked in and out and in and out and in and out. Smooth every time.
