“we would stay here again!”
We were cautioned about the high costs for accomodation in Tokyo but we received a very nice hotel at a reasonable rate (for Tokyo). great location near the Ginza district, lots spots for eating, shopping and a metro staion was less than 50 meters away.
“Not Recommended for that price...”
When I go into the hotel room, the bed is very dirty...and the room is old...the towel and bedding sheet aren't very clean....the entire hotel is super small..not just the room, the lobby too....Most important thing, no hotel bus that goes to this place...you have to take a your luggage and walk very far to get to the JR station to go to airport.
“Tidy little hotel in a top location”
Rooms are compact, but this is Tokyo, so it's to be expected. The staff are friendly and helpful and the location is fantastic, just 5 minutes walk from the shops of Ginza.
“Great location”
The hotel is in a great location within walking distance of great shopping and restaurants and close to bus station, train station and subway. The staff were very nice and helpful. The rooms were on the small size but very nice-I loved the French elegant theme. There were no drawers to put clothes in and we found the TV were frustrating. The channels were in Japanese except for BBC. If you pushed the button on the control you could get BBC in English but it only lasted for a minute or less. The staff did not know how to keep English as the language. If we needed an extra pillow or towel the staff was very quick to bring them to you. We were a little suprised that there were no porters but there is a cart at the front desk and on the last day kept her luggage in a secure area.
“overall very good cost performance”
considering a price I paid and being a great location, I recommend this hotel. People who are interested in however needs to be aware, Single bed room where I stayed is European style, limited space, remind me a little hotel room in Paris.
“Small comfy room in great location”
The room was small, even by Tokyo standards, but we fit two people into the room and were comfortable during our four-night stay. If you don't have a lot of luggage and don't spend too much time in the room, the size is probably not an issue. The location is great, within a 5 minute walk of three or four train stops and subway lines, and right next to the main Chuo-dori shopping area in Ginza. There's not much nightlife in the area. Hotel staff were friendly and spoke good English.
“Ideal location, but very small room”
The hotel is ideally located by the main Ginza shopping district and the nearby subway station has several lines that allow for direct access to a range of areas in the city. The hotel staff were very helpful, though only some spoke English, so it was hit and miss to get any advice about the immediate area. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable and the bathroom had a good shower. The one negative was the size of the room; although we expected it to be small, there was not even space to unpack our suitcases and there were no drawers to put our clothes in, with just one wardrobe, so you will have to expect to put the case by the side of the bed and take clothes out day by day. Overall, excellent location and good room, as long as you are happy with a small space.
“Pleasantly Surprised”
So I read all the reviews and they sounded to good to be true for the price. I was mistaken. The hotel was in a great location. A block from a Starbucks and the Louis Vuitton Store on the main strip on Ginza. The local subway is only 3 blocks away. It was very easy to get around. Onto the room. It was pretty small but that is expected in Japan. They made good use of space however. A few things that surprised me was that the room had air conditioning and they were not afraid to use it. I was cold most of the time. In the bathroom they left shampoo, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc. Way more extras then I expected. My biggest surprise was that the room was wired fro internet (not wireless) and it was free. All you had to do was hook in with the RJ45 ethernet cable that they provided and it was free. The front desk was very helpful and spoke pretty good English. They were able to answer all my tourist questions and point me in the right direction. They also had color maps of Japan and the train lines where they marked my destination. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone who is looking to stay in the Ginza.
“Quiet AND in Ginza”
Although this is a small hotel with tiny rooms you can't beat the location, just a couple of blocks (more or less) from two JR stations! Easy walk to the fish markets. We would recommend this hotel without question.
“great location”
nice boutique hotel. the location is fantastic, just a few meters from ginza subway station. polite and helpfull staff. the only problem is the size of the room. very, very, small. if you don't mind that, you'll have a great stay!

Area:
Ginza, Tokyo, Japan: High on opulence and popularity, Ginza was one of the city's first districts to implement Western-style brick buildings and gas lamps. Set in the heart of the city, it is the place for those who don't mind crowds, and serious spenders. But it takes very little to see Asia's largest fish market, a traditional kabuki play, or the latest gadgets at the Sony building.
