“Very good for the prices”
Very clean. Rooms are very small but highly functional. Good location. Staff all speaks English.
“Good Location / Good Value / Friendly Service”
This hotel is very well located. Maximum 10min walk to a 3 line metro station. Very close to Roppongi area...Good value and service for the money. Room size / bathroom is a bit small-may not suit business or luxury traveller
“Uncomfortable”
No WiFi in the rooms. Only in the lobby, with nowhere to sit and put your computer. Small double room, only suitable for a single person.
“Limited Recommendation”
I stayed at this hotel because of TripAdvisor reading ratings, which were high. However, my limited recommendation is based on the extremely small room for two persons that I was provided. On the positive side, the hotel staff persons were very cordial and helpful in finding nearby restaurants, the room was clean, the breakfast buffet (which was included in the price) was good, and the neighborhood was safe. The problem is that it was not possible to put the limited luggage we had anywhere in the room because there was space only to walk from the door to the small corner desk. The bed was barely large enough for two people. That was bearable for one night but not anymore than one night. Lastly, the nearest subway station was several blocks away and not nearly as close as I was led to believe.
“Tokyo Hotel Asia Center of Japan”
Inexpensive room by Tokyo standards. Relatively small, but really clean and functional. Hotel staff was professional. Breakfast was plentiful, but had little variety. Location is pretty convenient. Hotel is a business conference center so not a luxury hotel. I recommend if all you really need is a place to sleep.
“Wonderful location, extremely friendly service.”
I usually don't write reviews, not sure why, but I don't. This place definitely warrants one from me though. I'm a pretty simple traveler, and lead a fairly simple life, this place was perfect for me. The front desk service was very sincere, and accommodating, I had a hot shower everyday, a place to rest my head, and a wonderful comped breakfast every morning. I highly recommend it to any light traveler.
“Small room but cheap and good location.”
Small room but cheap and good location.
“Hotel Asia Center of Japan”
I couldn't of asked for a better hotel service, the room was spacious, clean and very comfortable to spend time in. Even when I left the "Do not disturb" sign on the door I was left a bag outside my room filled with fresh towels. I also liked that they give a pair of slippers and yukata to wear in your room. The staff were very friendly, and I was always greeted by reception when I returned. Reception are available until 2am which is very handy. And there are complimentary bottles of water available for guests to help themselves too which was a nice added extra. The hotel is sign posted and quite easy to find as long as you know the general area to look for (I got a cab from the airport for convienience and the driver had no problem despite having never heard of the hotel). It's also very central, only 3 metro stops from Shibuya, 2 from Harajuku. Overall I was extreamely happy with my choice in hotel and would absolutely return when I go back to Tokyo, and will be recommending the hotel to friends who visit Japan.
“Nice location, friendly English speaking staff”
Although I gave HACoJ perfect marks on each criteria, I wouldn't call the hotel perfect. However I would easily recommend it. When I was looking at hotels, the first thing I was looking for was an English speaking staff. I have basic Japanese conversational skills (2 years of college Japanese), but I was hoping to avoid speaking the language unless absolutely necessary. Most of the front desk staff is fluent, but not all. I had a single room with a full size bed, AC that could cool the room within 30 seconds on hot day, small tv and desk, and a bathroom with a shower/tub. The room was perfectly adequate but since I was there for 2 weeks, there was very little space for my clothes. I pretty much had to use my desk to pile all of my clothes on, rendering the desk and tv useless. The closet only had two hangers so it wasn't that much help. Breakfast buffet was decent and it was nice that they provide free water bottles. But definitely do no not base you hotel choice on the free stuff it provides. I had no idea until I got there, but the hotel is a 1minute walk from the Universal Music building. Since my two favorite pop groups are signed to that label it was kind of exciting to walk by for the first time on the way to the subway station. My only real complaint about the hotel is there is no wifi in each room. The lobby is the only place in the entire hotel that I could use my iphone to check my email and go online.
“Would definitely stay here again”
The hotel staff were friendly and efficient, and the front desk spoke excellent English. The onsite restaurant had a complementary breakfast buffet with American and Japanese choices. The hotel is located about a block away from the Aoyama-Itchome metro station, which connects to three lines: everywhere we wanted to go in Tokyo was relatively quick and easy to get to. The rate was an incredibly good value for the location and quality of this hotel. The room was small, but we didn't spend a lot of our free time there. The only thing that could have been better was that the beds were a little hard, but that might just be a Japanese thing. When I return to Tokyo, I am definitely staying at Hotel Asia Center of Japan.
