“Great little hotel”
It was easy to find from the subway station as the exits are clearly labelled with places of note. The staff were friendly, though their English was sometimes a little lacking. The room is small but for Tokyo I thought it was a reasonable size. Basically a nice little cheap hotel in a good location where you can easily use the subway to get to the rest of Tokyo.
“Budget hotel in a good area close to Asakusa station.”
Budget hotel with small rooms but excellent font desk service. Front desk speaks English and very helpful. Walking distance to Asakusa statio, restaurants, temple and shopping.
“Will Always Be My First Choice - Practical by all Means.”
Great Location, Practical in Facilities, Extremely helpful staff.
“resonably priced and good location”
the room was small compared to north american standards but we had expected that. the pics on the hotel web site was exactly what we got. the loaction is within walking distance to several tourist sites. subway is also within walking disatnce which is important since most travellers will be taking train from airport. overall we were very happy with the hotel and would reccomend it
“Good Hotel”
Stayed there for 5 days. The rooms are small but travelling alone it was perfect for me. Sensoji Temple and market were only a couple blocks away and very close to the subway. Very friendly staff and I was overall satified.
“Nice place”
Chisun Inn Asakusa was a good hotel for a good price. It was clean and comfortable. Japan has small hotel rooms, so I was expecting the room to be not so large. The walls were a little thin, but I was still able to sleep comfortably at night. The staff was kind and helpful. The location is super convenient as well: the hotel is two blocks from the subway (Asakusa Station), from which you can get an express train to the airport (NRT and HND).
“Amazing Hotel !! :)”
Ok so as being 19 and going on my first holiday for a long time since i was 5 i needed a good hotel and an area which was accessible to trains ! , And boy this hotel did not let me down amazing staff with so much Respect , Japan is truley an amazing place and the respect in the littlest of things for example Just coming back to your hotel after a long day of travelling and then getting greeted with a bow , I mean wow you would not get that here in the UK ! , But yeah overall amazing place some days i actually could not wait to get back to my hotel after i was so tired just going everywhere !! , Really neat area Asakusa is a cool chilled out place with lots to offer The famous Sensoji Temple literally 10 mins walk away and You have got the Asakusa Station which runs the Ginza line and the Asakusa line wich goes straight to Narita airport making life so much easier :) ! , And also there is Kurame Station which is right next to your hotel also which runs the Toei Oedo line !! 10/10 Amazing place Great Memories Miss the Place We be back for sure !!!
“Good economic option”
A good location and very clean. Helpful staff. Rooms are very small, but that is typical for Japan tourist hotel. Would stay there again.
“First time visit to Tokyo and certainly not my last.”
After a great check in I only got to my room in the evening after a long day out exploring Tokyo. The room was larger than I expected as people make out that the rooms are tiny. It was small but not to the extent of some of the over-exaggerations you hear of some Tokyo hotels. The bed was made, nice and clean as you'd expect. Their was no real view from outside my window but I didnt come to Tokyo to check out the views as most cities look pretty similar anyway. The room was also equipped with a HD television, all of the channels were in Japanese but there was a card feature where you could buy content, but I never used it so I can't say if there were any English programmes on that. Their was also air con and all the bedroom lightning was in or around the headrest of the bed. I also got a new clean robe for sleeping everyday. The bathroom came with complimentary shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrush, soap, towels and was equipped with a bath/shower combi and a toilet/bidet combi thing! The wardrobe in the room wasn't very deep but I still managed to hang a weeks worth of clothes in it no problem. The hotel had vending machines on a few floors and the staff were polite, helpful and efficient. It was situated in a nice location of Asakusa on the main road, the Metro stations for the Asakusa and Ginza lines are very close and its not a problem to get to from Narita airport (I made one swap at Oshiage on each trip). There are plenty of nice restaurants around too.
“Great Value in Tokyo”
Great value for money. You get a feeling of a well run hotel. Yes,the rooms are small but what do you expect in Tokyo. On main road but well insulated against noise-very quiet. Ideally sited for tourist sites and five minutes from rail station.Plan you route from airport if you are using public transport, again excellent value. Use cheap restaurants serving good wholesome food. You can a good meal for less than £5. You can do Tokyo on a budget, it doesn't have to be one of the World's expensive cities for you.

Area:
Asakusa, Tokyo, Japan: Today visited for its Sensoji Temple, Five Storied Pagoda, and the Nakamise traditional shopping arcade, this festive neighborhood once was the citys hot spot for drinking and dancing. Though it never experienced the development that Ginza and others have, it holds its own with an artistic community and some of the citys top attractions.
