Unneccesary expensive at the cafe by the reception, and also too little. There was a waiting line all the time

First Class

Posted 29-Jun-2015
Service was first class from start to finish. I arrived with no ability to speak Japanese whatsoever and every staff member spoke English very well and all were incredibly accommodating. On the room, we loved the shower so much we're already talking about remodeling our home shower when we return home. All in all the best hotel experience I've had in any country.

A modern hotel with great view and close to all

Posted 27-Jun-2015
This is at least the 10th times I stayed there. I would not consider other hotels whenever I travel to Tokyo. Staff r friendly and helpful and speak good english. Room is clean and comfy with great view. Location is the best!

Stayed here twice--1st time better than 2nd time

Posted 24-Jun-2015
Pros: Location!
Cons: Sheets on bed, better queen size beds, air conditioning improved in hallway and in rooms.
Location: Shibuya crossing, lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Convenient to Shibuya station.
My husband and I stayed here while honeymooning in Japan. This was the first stop on our trip, and the room was a king size bed and was relatively comfortable. I say relatively because we only had a comforter and no sheet and we couldn't get the AC working as well as we wanted, so we both ended up getting hot during the night. The bathroom was nice and large and the staff was great. After going to several other cities, we ended up back here for one night before our flight home and the 2nd room we stayed in was terrible. The AC was better but the bathroom was much smaller and the bed was as hard as a rock. I'm not exaggerating when I say it was like sleeping on a piece of plywood; neither one of us slept at all. Also, for some reason, the elevator and hallways were not air conditioned, so stepping out of the elevator or out of your room was like stepping into a sauna. The great thing that this place has going for it is the location--it's right across the street from Shibuya station and it was a great area with lots of restaurants and stuff to do. There is also a 7-11 outside on the terrace level which was very convenient for snacks, breakfast, drinks, etc. If you can find a better hotel in this area, I recommend it or just make sure you get the bigger room.

I liked just about everything about this Hotel. the lication was excellent for the first night, but breakfast is not included and it is quite expensive. $35.00 US ... too much for a continental bite.... there are lots smaller hotels around eith great breakfast included

We stayed at room 3218 for 3 nights and I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Very big room and friendly staffs. Close to shopping mall and the shibuya crossing. Will definitely stay there again when we're back in tokyo.

Fee for pool and gym

Posted 14-Jun-2015
Pros: 7-Eleven right outside on 2nd floor
Cons: explicitly disclose fees for gym and pool access
Location: 5 minute walk up hill from Shibuya station. Easy access from one side via elevator to cross highway or can use skywalk at the intersection.
The room was older and the bed was quite hard. I was also astonished to find out that they charge quite a bit to use the pool and gym unless you get at least a cityview room (upper floors) which is more expensive. The hotel overall especially including the restaurants is a 4.5 star hotel but I'd say the room itself is a 4 star. PROS: Large room with big bathroom which has a separate glass room for a shower next to the bath tub. The concierge was very helpful and helped us plan everything we needed. Also had an airport shuttle directly from the hotel but it's almost double the price of Narita express.
