“will definitey stay there again if the price is right”

Everything is great about this hotel. Tjhe only reason I give 4 out of 5 for quality of service is because its lobby is on the 20th floor. There is nobody to meet and greet and help with the door etc on the street level.

“Great Location”

Just spent 4 days here (December 2011). Its a great location and a very well run hotel. Everything was tizzed up a bit for Christmas, making it extra special. Will definitely return, if only for the views.

Area recommendations

Shinjuku has three great parks, all of which are unique - so make sure that you get to each of them. Dining out is very easy - it felt like every type of Japanese restaurant was available, and most other dining options. Just need a good coffee shop!

“Great quality for the price in Tokyo”

The room was huge by Tokyo standards. We have stayed in several comperable hotels and this had the largest room of all. The location was good, but the Metro subway was a long walk. After getting our orientation, we were able to navigate thru Shinjuku station fairly well. The east view is better than the west view. We took the limousine bus directly to the hotel. The hotel lobby is on the 20th floor. Other than the overpriced coffee shop, we enjoyed our stay.

Area recommendations

Can't go wrong with any neighborhood in Tokyo. Just hop on the subway or JR line and pick a destination. Pick up a local map of the area at the subway counter and find an interesting local point. Tons of restaurants all over the place. Be prepared to pay a lot though. Nothing is cheap, although some sushi restaurants have reasonable prices - even by US standards.

“Great option for Tokyo”

This is a great hotel, located within minutes of Tokyo's Shinjuku station. The room was quite spacious by Tokyo standards. The hotel is modern and so is the furniture in the room. Staff was very helpful, and a few of the young employees also spoke some English, which was very helpful. I warmly recommend this hotel for position, comfort and overall positive experience in Tokyo. The only downside was that we did not have coffee making facilities in the room; however there is a Starbucks within two minutes distance from the hotel.

Sinjuku as it is busting with activity and is great for shopping.

“Terrific Location”

Very convenient location for public transportation (short walk -- manageable with luggage -- from hotel to Narita Express train to airport and all other rail lines passing through Shinjuku Station). Abundant food choices nearby, from department store food courts to full service restaurants. Hotel gift shop prices were the same as those at nearby stores for snack items. Extremely quiet room, wired and wireless broadband internet access in room; Ethernet cable provided.

“A Wonderful Place To Stay”

Quite a lovely place to stay. A nice short walk from Shinjuku station gets you there, making it an easy place to get to from Narita. The room was surprisingly spacious, as was the tub as well. I found the staff to be quite helpful and fluent in English. I did not eat at any of the hotel's restaurants so I cannot comment on those. The room was shockingly quiet for overlooking Shinjuku station and the view was wonderful. It's also nice that the hotel is just a few blocks from the Electric Street section of Shinjuku, making it easy to get to the nightlife. All in all quite an enjoyable place to stay.

“Very convenient location, hotel service overall was great.”

Very close to Shinjyuku, one of the biggest terminal station in Tokyo. As it located above 20th floor of Shinjyuku Southern Tower, they have great view of Tokyo. Hotel room was very clean with a lot of amenity including hair brushes, cottons and room slippers.

Area recommendations

Shinjyuku gyoen (garden) is very nearby.

Shinjyuku has many department store, including Takashimaya, Isetan and Marui. Also there are many discount electrical gadgets stores, such as Big Camera, Yodobashi Camera and Yamada Lavi. You can find anything you need in the neighborhood.
