"Nice hotel close to transportation"
Stayed for 4 nights in March 2015. Beautiful hotel with huge room. View was amazing. Recent posters mentioned the construction blocking the views, but it depends which room you are in. We were on the 34th floor and could see the construction cranes, but they did not block the view from our window (off to the side and below our window). Great location next to Tokyo Station and a short 2 block walk to Nihonbashi Station. Hotel restaurant is expensive, but there are other options in the train station or on the city streets. Just ask the front desk for recommendations outside the hotel and they will be happy to assist.

"Great hotel in great location"
During our first trip to Tokyo we got a super deal on this hotel from Expedia - more than 50% cheaper than other 5* hotels in Tokyo, but without any compromise on what you would expect from The Peninsula Hotel brand. This hotel is in the centre of Tokyo, in an area compared to Mayfair in London - brilliant starting point! Your every need is looked after, and they were very helpful in booking me some great Michelin Starred Sushi restaurants in the area. The room itself was incredible, huge bathroom with separate shower and bathtub and the notorious japanese automatic toilet! You also have a large space for your bags and clothes, kind of like a walk in wardrobe - fantastic when on a longer trip. The bedroom section is also very large, overall providing great value for money. There is also a subway station attached to the hotel, making the navigation of the city very easy. Even if you are not familiar with their system, the Japanese people are always willing to help! Finally, the staff are incredible here. From opening doors to delivering bags and room service - they did not accept tips, nor did they wait around to see if you would give one, they just got on with providing their service with a smile! I don't think I would stay anywhere else in Tokyo - and I will definitely be back! P.S The bar at Peter's restaurant has great views, cocktails and incredible staff too!

"Central location, good room, excellent views!"
The hotel is located an easy walk from the Metro station, just across the road from the markets. Perfect location for those looking to explore the area and do some shopping! Easy walk to the station even with large suitcases. The room is a good size for Tokyo, and the bathroom was quite large. After spending a week at the ski resorts and showering in a tiny little cube I thought this shower was pretty amazing. The rooftop terrace has excellent views of the sky tower, and particularly at night.

"Excellent location in Ginza"
Lovely modern hotel with friendly english speaking staff. Within 5 minutes walking distance of all the big name and fantastically designed shops. Also 5 mins to subway. This was the last hotel of my stay and all I really wanted to do was some last minute shopping. Close (on subway) to electric town and kitchen town. Department stores in Ginza tend to be bit more expensive than other areas in Tokyo. Dined at Tapas Molecular Bar at the Mandarin Oriental and Sant Pau in Nihombashi (both highly recommended) which were both about 15 minutes away (walking/subway). that is if you have researched what exit on the subway to exit from!! I will stay here again if I am lucky enough to return to Japan.

"wonderful tucked away luxury boutique hotel"
The best hotel I have ever stayed in Tokyo, and I have spent many nights and visits in this city. This hotel is just simply the best and more than lived up to my expectations. Beautifully appointed throughout, with staff so informed , helpful and knowledgeable. English widely and well understood, and caters for other languages as well especially Mandarin. Very convenient in terms of subway. The location is tucked away in a quieter part of city which is great after a busy and hectic day in the city. great pool and range of restaurants. Cannot recommend it more!

Great service. Great view. Big rooms. Good room service. And what a pain it is to have to write something when you are not in the mood. I only wanted to give the ratings.

"Excellent Hotel."
this hotel is simply amazing. Luxury all the way. The staff are very polite and cannot do enough for you. We had some super meals not to mention the fantastic cocktail waiter who produced the most fabulous drinks before your very eyes. Great meals in restaurant too. there was a spa and pool but we had no time to use it.....regrets !!!! A real wow factor. Easy transport to and from airports. Also, walking distance to shops and restaurants and there are masses of them. Gardens close by and a stunning fountain display. We stayed for 2 nights before we travelled to Kyoto. We loved it so much, we returned there for our last day.

"Great location near Shinjuku station"
We stayed here on the recommendation of a Japanese friend. This is a wonderful hotel. The location is wonderful. So close to the train station, shopping, dining, and the beautiful Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden. Our room had a view of this park and was a very relaxing sight. I felt it was a wonderful stay, we stayed for 6 nights and felt so comfortable. I don't speak any Japanese but the staff was able to help us with any questions. I will stay here again when I return to Tokyo.

"Convenient hotel in Akasaka"
Very helpful staff can easily communicate in English. Access to Akasaka area trains is very convenient. Rooms in the Garden Tower are a bit worn but are kept very clean by the staff. Try the breakfast buffet at Satsuki for a taste of the famous Satsuki pastries.
