Best Western Tokyo Nishikasai

"Should have booked earlier"
The Best Western Tokyo Nishikasai is located just a couple blocks south of the Nishikasai station on the Tozai subway line. We got there a couple hours early, we were not able to check in, but they were willing to hold our luggage. Our first night there we were placed in what was one of the smallest rooms we have ever stayed in. There was enough room for a full sized bed and not much else with barely enough room for one person to shimmy around the bed. The bathroom looked as though someone had tacked a shower onto an airplane lavatory and in order to enter you had to step up over a lip that was quite high. We were there for three more nights so we paid an extra $25.00/night for a larger room. This one had a full size bed as well as a twin bed. There was a bit more room, and the bathroom was a bit larger. We took their free shuttle to Disney. Getting there was easy. The printed directions to the pick-up spot were very difficult to understand (You have to pay to take the monorail, and JNR train to get there). We had to get help several times. The breakfast buffet was nice but somewhat limited. The staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating. If you chose to stay here, definitely pay for the bigger room. It is well worth the cost. Honestly, the first room rated about a 2. The second, larger one, about a 3.5. It was the staff that pushed the overall rating to a 4.
