I stayed two nights at this 'business' no-frills hotel. Having sent my suitcase ahead, it was already in my room when I checked in. My room was spotless and comfortable. The bed was 'hard to quite hard' (which I enjoyed), and the disposable amenities were basic but adequate (toothbrush and toothpaste), hair brush, sponge. The cotton sleeping shirt was comfortable, and the breakfast was from a choice from 4 'western' and 4 'Japanese' set menus which included a 'Drinks Bar'-an all you can drink station of hot and cold teas, coffees, soft drinks and fruit juices at Jonathan's- a family restaurant adjacent to the hotel. The sliding glass door and balcony means you can actually stand outside overlooking a tiny park and so it didnt feel claustrophobic staying in a busy metropolis. Shibuya station (at least the New South Exit) is only a couple of minutes away and once you're orientated, it's not too difficult to navigate. I'd stay again, and would consider all the Tokyu Stay, or Tokyu group hotels based on my experience.
I arrived at TCAT the directions from the website lead me right to the hotel. It was a easy walk about 10 mins. Check in is located on the 4th floor. The check in was quick and easy. After the guy gave me a tour. There is free washing and drying. He even took the time to explain to me how to use it. He took me up to my room and told me how everything works. I was in a 2 twin bed room. The bathroom had a shower and tube sink and western toilet. The room is big. It was a desk, table with seating area. A heater/air cond. It also features a kitchenette complete with microwave, hotplate, hot water kettle, mini fridge, sink and dishes to cook with. The room also had a large sliding door to a patio in the morning it gave great natural light. Wifi is also free. A clothes rack and trash can. there was enough dishwashing soap and toilet to last me for a week. When i come back to Tokyo i will stay here over and over again. the office close at 5 but they will email you your room number and you check in the next morning. Its also very close to Tokyo Disneyland a 13 minute walk to the train station and if you catch an express tran its only 2 stops away
At a good price the location was convenient and the facilities were easy to access and in great condition.
I was very happy to forgo hotel style services and save money.
The managers also had perfect English (my Japanese is poor) and are happy to communicate by email.
Attentive staffs. No major issues found.
Arrived very late at night but the front desk quickly check me in. Very tired at that time but recall have to manually write name, addresses, email etc. by hand. Happy to see my no-smoking room smoke free. The room is equipped with small refrigerator, gas stove and microwave. Some pots and pans, plates, utensils are available. The toilet is fitted with Toto washlet which works well. The labels are all in Japanese but you can guess the function by looking at the pictogram.
I don't think they have water shortage as both shower and toilet are not water saver models. I don't see bath vent inside the shower stall. I just leave the bathroom door ajar to vent the moisture.
They clean the room twice during my 6 days stay. They clearly indicated this fact with a note and I know about this ahead of time by reading other people's comment. I have no problems with this but if you want clean new bath towels every day might have objections.

Close to Ginza and Tsukiji market, close to subway. Overall, great location, friendly staff and very clean and comfortable bed. Although the room was small, it contains all necessity and nicely organized.
