"A nice simple room of good size"
Needed a room in Toconame, and was pleased with what I got. The room was spacious by Japanese standards. The hotel standard was simple, but adequate. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good, except the scrambled eggs were cold (so I ate other things that were good)

    Pocket Guide: Nagoya Tokoname Hotels

Life in Tokoname, on the west coast of Chita peninsula, has been intertwined with pottery and ceramics for more than a millennium. Walk down Dokanzaka slope, made of ceramic pieces, and then be transported back to an earlier time by Yakimono Sanpomichi (the Pottery Path) and its traditional houses, workshops, and kilns. After treating yourself at a ramen restaurant, visit the ruins of Ono Castle.
