I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest appreciation for the outstanding experience I had during my recent stay at your hotel. I cannot emphasize enough how impressed I was with the exceptional level of service provided by your staff. The reception staff were absolutely phenomenal, going above and beyond to ensure that my check-in was seamless and stress-free. Their welcoming demeanour and willingness to assist with any and all inquiries was greatly appreciated, and truly set the tone for a wonderful stay. I must also commend the breakfast staff for their attentive service and delightful personalities. They consistently went out of their way to ensure that I was well taken care of, and their kind gestures did not go unnoticed. The rooms were nothing short of magnificent. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the view of Lake Locarno from my balcony was simply breathtaking. I felt as though I was living in a dream world throughout my entire stay, and I cannot thank your team enough for making it such a memorable experience. In conclusion, I would highly recommend Hotel La Palma Au Lac to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Locarno. Just stay here
This hotel exudes a pleasant vibe. It looks nice, and it is nice. The people are nice, especially the reception. They upgraded us. It’s just one of those hotels that’s just perfectly nice. It has all the amenities that pre pandemic hotels used to have. Shampoos, conditioners, body cream oh la la. My wife would probably add that although there is a lot of counter space it was a little bit dark. I would like to add that I looked good in the mirror and the shower was refreshing and powerful. There is reasonably priced parking (14CHF) that’s easy to reach behind the building. Nice. Our room offered a stunning view and the free breakfast buffet was also…very very nice.

Location was perfect, breakfast was very good, staff were friendly & they had parking. The jacuuzzi with the view of Lake Maggiore was just awesome!

Good location, nice view from the balcony. 4 minites from the train station by foot, a lot of restaurants nearby. Very nice experience with the reception (both check in and check out). Free bottle of water on departure was a nice touch. Aircon in the room, small fridge in the room, modern TV. Would book again, very good overall experience. We did not book breakfast buffet (due to the corona risk, but we are very conservative on this matter).

Good position on the lake front, easy walk to town. Parking a bit problematic - either on meters on the road opposite, to paying daily to park in the (limited) car park of the hotel, quite expensive but convenient.

Amazing in everything!
The most special part of our stay was the kindness and empathy from the entire staff. The restaurant and food are also amazing. And so the wine selection. Nothing was different than amazing in every single item.

Exceptional lakeshore location across aan avenue from Lake Maggiore and well kept gardens. Easy walking distance to the center of Locarno and shopping and historical attractions. Newly renovated hotel with views to mountains and part of town on the back and more expensive suites with lake view. Very well trained and pleasant staff. Superior breakfast and excellent quality restaurant. Quiet rooms and comfortable beds and linens. There is car parking at reasonable cost in the premises. Excellent value.

As regular visitors, we’re always looking for a nice and well priced hotel close to the Maggia Valley. The hotel is well situated close to the station and just steps from the lake. Rooms are a good size and generally well appointed, the only nice addition would be a Nespresso machine or kettle. The staff throughout the hotel were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help. Will certainly stay there again.

We travel frequently and have stayed in some of the nicest hotels and locations around the world, and this stay was by far one of the most beautiful places we ha we ever visited!!! You must rent the electric motorcycles and venture into the mountains! We will return!

Lovely Locarno
Beautiful location right on the lake. The hotel is lovely and centrally located - easy walk to the train station and very close to restaurants and shopping.Get a room on the upper floor to really enjoy the view. Locarno is a little less pricey than Lugano (which you can easily visit by train or my favorite way - by ferry.

Unbedingt Seesicht buchen!
Mit geschenktem Upgrading hatten wir ein sehr schönes Zimmer mit grandioser Seesicht. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Tolle, professionelle Massagen. Einzig die Parkgarage sehr eng!-
