We only stayed one night but the room was huge and had everything we could ever need. The only problem we had was finding the hotel in the first place; we were worried about getting a taxi and it costing extortionate amounts of money; we got the tube but got lost and frustrated. We should have got a taxi from the airport because we got a taxi to the airport in the morning and it cost us less than £20.00.

Staff spoke English and were very helpful. Upon seeing we were 4 adults in two rooms they immediately upgraded us to larger beds without us asking. We returned to our room later to find a birthday basket since one of us had a birthday during the week of our stay. Not even during our stay! The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Great breakfast included.

This is a new hotel and taxi drivers did not know or never hear about this hotel. It takes about 30 minutes walk to nearby subway station. You need to get the hotel address in Chinese so the taxi drivers know where to go. In general the hotel is new and good condition. Front desk staffs can speak English.
This hotel is located in a busy shopping and commercial area of Tianhe district. The walking distance to the nearest metro station is around 10 minutes. The main entrance of the hotel is tucked around the back away from the main street, so it is easy to miss. The hotel is listed as 5 stars but it is closer to 4 stars as the building and rooms show signs of wear and lack of maintenance. However, you can tell that the hotel was grand when it first opened based on the quality in the material and furniture. I was fortunate to be upgraded to the executive suite so the room was huge. It must be the slow week in town and low volume of guests.
