“Freundliche Überraschung”

Angenehme, ruhige Lage in einem freundlichen, innenstadtnahen Vorort, gute und preiswerte Küche, gute Weinauswahl, vorbildlich renovierter, alter Fachwerk-Gasthof.

“Gerne wieder”

Sehr schönes idyllisches Hotel. Haupthaus sehr traditionell gehalten, gegenüberliegendes Haus dagegen modern schick. Umfangreiches Frühstücksbuffet.

Area:

Thuringian Forest, Germany: At 120 kilometres long and 35 kilometres wide, this hilly forest is popular year round. The Rennsteig hiking path (a skiing path in winter) follows the summits along the main central ridge, the highest peak being the Grosser Beerberg. Winter sports centres like Oberhof have facilities for downhill skiing but Nordic skiing is much more popular. Burgk Castle in the south-east corner of the forest is one of Germany's most beautiful castles.
