"You get what you pay for"
If you are looking for a place to flop at night while you tour during the day - this is your hotel. The lobby is quite nice (white marble) and there is a beautiful view from the roof top where breakfast is served. Breakfast consists of eggs, mini hot dogs, yogurt, cheeses, breads, granola and flake cereals, fresh fruits (kiwi, oranges, apples), canned peaches and/or fruit cocktail, juices (orange or pineapple guava), coffee, tea choices (black, green, and herbal), fresh cucumber, tomatoes, and olives. The hotel room however was chinzy and cheap. The hall and room carpeting needs to be replaced. The double bed is two twin beds pushed together with thin, hard mattresses and low thread count sheets. The bathroom is your standard European style with a tiny shower, etc., but decent towels and toiletries. Our room looked out onto an alley with wafting dumpster smell and loud traffic noise. We closed the deck door and turned on the air conditioner, so it didn't matter much. The location was really close to the underground subway (metro), open air market, taxi stands, and within walking distance to many historical sites. This was a good hotel for the price, but if you are room picky, it's not for you.
