Amazing place.. Highly recommended. But restaurant prices need to come down atleast by 100%...if not by 200%.really expensive.. They should bring down the prices or else every one will just stop eating in the restaurant and go out and eat. And that's what is happening right now and that's what we did too..

Disappointing hotel

I booked this as a four star hotel which it certainly is not.My first room was dark, very in need of refurbishment with mould in the vert small bathroom. They moved me to a suite which was brighter but still in need of decoration. Several facilities were closed - no second restaurant, no pool bar, no gift shop / library.The breakfast was OK, and food generally not too bad, not four star. The staff however were the one saving grace, all were really nice and helpful. The nearby beach is black sand and not that pretty. Much nicer places to stay in Kerula.

Location: Location is misleading. Turtle on the Beach is not on the Beach, it's close to the Beach. The Beaches, once you reach them, are nice with good facilit
We booked at this Hotel expecting, like the name sugguests, to be staying on the Beach and especially booked a Seafacing Bedroom. We got a Hotel with no access to the Beach ( transport took 5 minutes) and a Bedroom with a Palm Tree view (with the Sea shining through). When this was mentioned to the Reception Staff they just ignored the comment and carried on as when we never ementioned anything. In my opinion, they could, at the very least, have moved us up one or two floors to get the Seaview. Otherwise the staff was fine and polite. The Bedroom was big and clean, guest supplies were not always replaced, but the room was comfortable. The restaurants variety, especially at breakfast was basic ( needed plates, cutlery, glasses and replenishment was done very slowly and only after asking) and Dinner a la carte was exceptable. The most helpful person at the Hotel was their Driver (s) as they always were very polite and accommodating.

The service at the restaurants was really from the heat. To name a few of the staff Aditya , Zulfi, Sanjiv, Yogasekar....I wish I remembered the other names..... A few suggestions - Consider giving complementary Airport Pickup ; A few basic welcome kits/toiletries inthe room would go a long way in make the guests feel special.

while it looks on paper as a decent four-star hotel, the appearances deceive. the room was absolutely filthy, with broken fixtures and old, worn-out bed sheets. terrible overall hotel service, with a surly attitude (highly unusual for kerala). overall, an overpriced sham -- i have stayed at cleaner, friendlier and better hostels.
