Convenient for the travelling tourist adjacent to national road/exit, though no noise of traffic evident. Very comfortable beds. Friendly cheerful staff. Overall a great though short stay! No doubt we will return! Pity no evening dinner available. Suggest going a little further afield than the 'fast food' outlets nearby to eat , unless you enjoy the adjacent 'american dogfood'!

We booked this as a stopover on our way back to England from Italy. We were pleasantly suprised with the hotel. Very clean, looks like it has just been refurbished. Right in the center of town, with 2 car parks very close by. The price was very good, and would definately stay there again.
We were treated like a welcomed guest and felt that we were in a fine home with complete privacy. Our room was well decorated and appointed. The outdoor spaces and landscaping here are beautiful as well as the distant vistas .
This is a family owned facility and they will make you feel at home. The owner is also the chef and cooks up delicious meals. They were probably the best meals we had in 10 days in France.

Our Sat-Nav found it difficult to locate this hotel, but once there, we were impressed by the beautiful and quiet surroundings. It is an old building but the facilities have been updated as far as is possible. The staff were helpful and friendly and we found eating in the restaurant a real pleasure and considered the prices moderate.
We had a corner room overlooking the old chateau and the wooded surroundings. Being able to take a stroll in the large park after dinner was a real bonus.

First negative - didn't take breakfast at the hotel, too pricey. Found a cafe one minute away at a third the price. Rest of stay, positive, even though unfortunately the outside of the hotel does not make a good first impression. Once inside, it is a pleasant enough place to stay. Right on a main pedestrian street, so if, like us, you sleep with the window open (no air-con here) then you will be awoken by the sounds of the city, e.g. late-night revellers, dogs barking, and the streets being cleaned at 6am. However that is hardly the hotel's fault! Another plus point - arrive after 6pm and parking is free in the local square until 9am the next day.
