We had an excellent 2 night stay at Das Stue. The hotel is well situated, pretty central and close enough to walk to the major attractions. It is of a very high quality and beautifully finished. The staff are friendly and attentive but not overly so; they get the balance right.

We loved this hotel. The room was fantastic, new, clean, and modern. The breakfast, at €7.50 is great, and the location was nice. Easy to get anywhere by transit or on foot through the Tiergarten.
We really enjoyed our stay and the staff was excellent. I highly recommend it.

"City hotel, close to sights, shops and transport"
We were bought this hotel stay as a birthday present for my husband.
An excellent choice of hotel as it has all the features needed for a leisure break and also for business users. The two do not always sit comfortably together but on this occasion they did. From the moment we arrived, where we were told at reception that our room was ready for us, to leaving 3 days later the staff, food and housekeeping gave us no problems whatsoever.
As the trip had been arranged as a birthday treat there was a delicious birthday cake in the room when we came back on the first afternoon.
The standard rooms are spacious and well presented with superior quality beds and bedding. The pillows are so soft you just sink into them. Not always to everyones' taste, but we found them very comfortable. Bathroom facilities were excellent with a good selection of toiletries. The only problem that we found in our room was that the television could not be easily viewed from the bed, but this was just a minor thing.
There is free Wi-Fi available but we did not make use of this.
We can only comment on the breakfast selection as far as food is concerned as we did not eat in the hotel restaurant. Breakfast, however, was excellent. There is a vast selection of food to suit all tastes and nationalities. Plenty of fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt, cooked meats and cheese, a counter where you can order freshly fried, scrambled and poached eggs or omelettes.
All in all we were more than happy.
We were a group of 6 ladies visiting Berlin for the first time. The twin rooms we requested were excellent. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds. Although the temperature outside was below freezing the rooms were comfortably warm. The staff were polite, efficient and friendly. On the second morning the breakfast waitress even remembered which of us wanted tea/coffee without any prompting. The choice of food for breakfast was excellent although if you do not have a hearty appetite €22 was a little on the high side. We would have appreciated free WiFi as this would have helped us plan our itinerary more effectively. Would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return sometime in the future.
We chose it after reading various reviews and were not disappointed. We loved the high ceilings and old fashioned style, but slightly quirky feel it had, largely due to all the art in the public areas. Our room was an adequate size, though not large, but because we looked on to the courtyard it was very quiet, and the beds were very comfortable, so we slept well!
We stayed four nights, and had breakfast at the hotel each morning. The choice was excellent and the staff always friendly and helpful.
It is in a quiet area, and while there is not a huge choice of restaurants nearby, we did eat at three different places, all walking distance from the hotel. The train and underground services are a short walk away, and on the first day (when there was a train strike) we did in fact walk all the way to the Brandenburg Gate and further. However, we caught the 100 bus most of the way back!
