After a day at Drayton Manor this hotel was perfect to crash in. Can't fault the hotel. It doesn't have a restaurant but the staff gave us take away menus and told us of local restaurants. There are lots of places to eat nearby. The hotel did have a microwave in the vending section of the reception which is ideal for heating up childrens food.
Breakfast was a lot more than I expected, sausages, bean, scrambled egg. Loads of branded cereals, croissants, Danish pastries, fruit, yoghurts, juice.
Nice looking and centrally located hotel. The bedroom and general decor were a bit tired but perfectly acceptable. I arrived half-way through breakfast and the cooked breakfast was ok, but could have been presented better - it's help yourself and the food containers could do with being replaced. The waitress was nice and brought some tea quickly. It was quite cheap so, all in all, it was good value for money.

The staff were polite n courteous during our stay. The room was very clean, spacious and extremely comfortable. I was very impressed with the breakfast very delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely book again if I returned to the hotel location.
My partner and I stayed at this hotel on the way to Alton Towers (40 drive away) . We arrived very late however this was no problem for the staff, who were very warm and welcoming. We were checked in quickly and given the keys to our room in the building adjoining the pub. The room was basic but clean and the room rate included a full breakfast, free wifi and parking - this was a great little find. Breakfast included a continental buffet and a choice of hot meal (We both had Eggs Royale)
If you are looking for luxury this is not it but If you need a place to stay which is clean, the staff are super friendly and within good distance of attractions then the Riverside Hotel is great.
