"Excellent location for museums and Michigan Ave"
My wife and I selected this hotel due to its proximity to museums and Lakefront Trail. It's a short walk to the Art Museum, Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, Buckingham Fountain, and Millennium Park. It's a bit of a longer walk to Lincoln Park on the Lakefront Trail. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the hotel staff and the condition of our room. The front desk staff made several excellent recommendations for restaurants and other sightseeing activities during our stay. The hotel is very easy to find. We will definitely stay here again.

"Great location, great views"
My husband and I stayed here during a trip to Chicago for a concert. The hotel is located within a short walking distance from the LaSalle Blue Line station, which made it very convenient for us, as we were able to commute from O'Hare and to our concert at United Center, which also is within walking distance from the Blue Line station (can't recall station name). We had nice weather during our stay, so we were able to walk from the hotel to all the sights we wanted to visit while in Chicago - Millenium Park, Navy Pier, Magnificent Mile, Museum Campus, etc. The hotel itself is on the 40th floor and offers great views all around. The rooms were large and comfortable, and for what I'm used to, this was a high-end place. The staff was friendly and accommodating, they allowed us to leave our bags before check-in and after check-out. Additional perks that made this a great place to stay was free wi-fi in the room and free breakfast. Breakfast isn't much to speak off - donuts, cereal, some fruit, but it's free so better than nothing! We didn't visit the restaurant or fitness center, but they are available to guests. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would definitely recommend this for a romantic getaway, or business traveller. This probably wouldn't be a good place to stay with young children, or rowdy teens though. There were nice plush robes in the closet,
