We only ate breakfast, choice of one thing in your yoghurt. One big jar off Nutella, Jam or Peanut butter to put it in a little paper cup. Makes a mess with a lot of people touching it. Rooms not decorated, only for sleeping purpose, same as the shower. Distance from beach / boulevard is okay. Staff did their job, but won’t give away a smile. To expansive for what you get. I would rate it a € 100,- a day instead of € 230,-

The property is located near the beach. The Scheveningen pier (with a Ferris wheel) and various shops and restaurants are close by. Tram number 1 stops right in front of the hotel, number 9 - perhaps 200 meters away. The hotel sells day tickets. The buffet breakfast is decent, even if perhaps a tad expensive (18 Euro per adult, half that for kids).

Great location
We booked the family room for our family of four (with two kids). Room was clean and decent sized for four of us. We had prefer to park in the hotel but the lots were full and we parked in a nearby parking garage, about 2 mins walk from the hotel. Location was great, 4 mins walk to the beach! Lots of great restaurant and bar options.

Happy in the Hague
Very friendly staff and great location. Parking is a problem and overpriced in the area. We found free public parking within a few minutes walk.

Frame of the baby bed was dirty and not cleaned prior to use . There was mold underneath the heater and above the door frame. It was overall extremely basic with old furniture. When booking The homepage did not mention anything about a surcharge for a pet, it was only listed the hotel was „dog friendly“. It was an unpleasant surprise we had to pay an additional Eur 40.

I am used to a few more comforts in my hotel room ie, tissue, coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, more electrical outlets, and a bathtub. The location was excellent for our purposes (the beach). I felt safe and slept fine. I would stay here again. From an American’s point of view, it was adequate.

We were really surprised when we arrived in our room as we expected a sofa bed for the kids but actually got a second double bedroom with single duvets which was much better. We were slightly disappointed by the breakfast as there was not a huge amount of choice for our 3 year old son and the breakfast room is quite small.so.some people had to sit in the bar area. Location is very good for the beach and close to the trams to Den Haag. We would definitely stay here again.

Disappointing for the cost.
Had to walk sideways past the end of the bed due to limited room space. Electronic door key kept going faulty. Uncomfortable bed. Badly stained carpets in the hallways. For €120 per night I’d expect better. The reception staff to be fair were very helpful.

It was acceptable. It was a little sparse (no refrigerator, no coffee maker, limited access to ice ) as compared to US standards for similar properties. But maybe that is the norm in Europe. The balcony in our room was not really as clean as we thought it should have been. Overall, the staff was good and responsive. The price was reasonable.

Comfortable bed. Room on roadside so very noisy at night, also building work going on in reception and therefore lots of noise, unable to eat breakfast due to hammering and removal of flooring in bar and reception area which is right onto breakfast area, left with a headache.

The property is located in close proximity to the beach. Fantastic. Paying 30 Euros for parking is not a good public relations move. The room s are neat, clean and larger than most European hotels. Great.

Great location not so great hotel
The greeting was positively cold, no hello.. welcome..as if it was a chore to be serving us. The room, although large enough for the three of us was very basic a small open hanger with about five coat hangers for us to share, and no drawers. Only two sockets in the room, and no mirror near enough to use my straighteners. No tea /coffee facilities and the mattress on the beds were only about three or four inches thick, so very hard on our backs. The bathroom was ok a nice walk in shower, but the metal shower hose at the bottom was black with grime. The balcony had not been swept as there were cigarette butts left. It sounds worse than it was, a few details and it would be a good hotel. The breakfast was very good and plentiful.

Nice hotel near the bear in Schevenigen. Room is small (expected from Ibis). Parking is extremely expensive, same price with the public parking 100m away (I would have expected a much better price).

Ibid hotel scheveningen
It was ok however there a few things i would change about the room including cups and a kettle make a hot drink the only heating that worked was a radiator. Apart from this it was ok but the price is not much different from other hotels that have better standards and equipment in bedrooms.

The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly and responsive. The hotel is near the beach and a variety of restaurants are close by.

Good value for Scheveningen
A great location in Scheveningen, short walk to the beach and all local attractions. Tram outside the hotel to The Hague centre. Double room a little small but overall good value. Be aware that a few rooms on each floor are outside the fire doors next to the stairs. Not a problem for most people but the doors are extremely heavy and can be a problem for some to open. I had to open the doors for my elderly mother to get through due to the weight of the doors
