“V. Good but a bit noisy”
Perfectly clean, comfortable and friendly. Only drawback: some rooms look out onto a street with trams running late and early. ask for room at back if you are sensitive to noise
“This is NOT a 4 Star Hotel”
I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. I was attending a conference in The Hauge. The Hotel is advertised as a 4 Star Hotel in Expedia.com It is not a four star by any strecth of imagination. In American standards it would be a 2 star and in European standards a 3 star hotel at best, Both the room and the beds are very small. TV in the room is 17 inches old tube style with a few channels and only one of them is in English. Hotel has no facilities you would expect in a 4 star hotel, like exercise room or an ironing board in the room. Location is also out of the way. There are very few hangers and very few towels. In the bathroom there is no soap to wash your hands. I gues it is a BYOS hotel. It would be a disaster to stay here if you have kids, Becase room is very small and there is nothing child friendly in the hotel or nearby. I would not stay here again.
“Big rooms; need tram to get into centre”
We had twin rooms - a good size with decent seating areas. Hotel is a bit far from the city centre to walk (and certainly too far to walk to the stations with luggage) but tram routes within easy reach. Pleasant Italian restaurant in next street; pub with good meals in nearby square.
“Not 4 star quality”
Room was small but comfortable. No plug in sink, when I asked for one I was told that 7 had been replaced recently and that a replacement may be provided the day after I left. The key/lighting controller had a mind of it's own..sometimes cutting all power to the room. The "wardrobe" was squeezed into a space and did the job..Just. It was however broken in a few places. Breakfast was adequate only. Amazed that this hotel rates 4 stars. Location and price is fairly good and parking is provided which is a plus for Den Haag.
“Good place to stay”
Not what I would consider a 4 star but very good place to stay: clean, helpful staff, good location. Great value for the price.
“Good hotel - good location”
The Hampshire was a nice hotel to stay in during my two night business stay. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was varied and of a good standard. The room I was in had ample room. storage and a large bathroom. The hotel is to the west of the town centre, a short walkable distance away.

“Cheap for the standard but not a 4-star hotel”
The bathroom was really nice and clean! The room was not clean enough - the sheets were dusty as for the rest of the room, and the curtains had stains. The bed was bad. We were supposed to get a queen bed, but it was just two twin beds pushed together (and the madrases fell down to the sides all the time) which made it kind of hard to be a couple... The room i general needed an update except for the bathroom. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast is recommendable - really nice croissants and coffee! The neighborhood was nice and quiet, we only heard the tram sometimes but it was actually kind of cozy. It takes about 15 min to walk to the center or you can go by tram (expensive though - 2,50 euro each way). We didn't mind it was a little away from centrum, but some people might. The conclusion is that it's a nice hotel with good breakfast and bathroom but NOT a four star quality room. The price in mind this was ok, but just notice this before you book.
“Hampshire Hotel Laan van Meerdervoort Den Haag”
Gewoon een goed hotel met nette service.
“Hampshire Hotel Den Haag”
Prima hotel.
