“disappointing”

Staff were all very professional but the room service and restauramnt food was very poor value, although breakfast buffet was ok. The hotel was also cold. The room overlooked a petrol stationa nd car park, not the park.

“Nothing much around hotel”

We felt this hotel was overpriced for what we got. The room was only average, the bathroom floor had hair on it when we arrived, so one wonders how clean the rest of the room was, the dining room service was very good, but the very expensive. The hotel is in between the center of town and the beach and on a cable car line so that was good, but no restaurants nearby. We would probably not stay here again though simply because it was expensive and not good value for the money.

Traveller's tip
We took a cab from the train station to the hotel, the driver took the long way. We would recommend walking to the center of town-10 to 15 minutes and taking a cable car. Much more economical than 17 euros for a taxi.
