“You will be happy at Hotel Hestia”

Our room was large and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the hotel's little courtyard. It was very quiet at night. Breakfasts were everything we needed, in a pleasant setting. Great location for the museums, and a good neighborhood for restaurants and for getting around town. Staff were personable and helpful. Elevator for anyone who's nervous about the tight stairs--we didn't use it. I enjoyed watching the green parrots who came each evening to the birdfeeder. We stayed here a week. It was a lovely choice.

Area recommendations
We came primarily for the museums. For this, the Hotel Hestia was perfect. But the trams are so convenient that I think it doesn't matter much which neighborhood you choose to stay in.
