I had a nice stay and the hotel and staff were top notch. Except for a couple of mix-ups on my hotel bill where a couple of nonsignificent charges had to be removed, everything went well.

Very nice staff, very clean! The pool is in the basement and feels like an old YMCA- clean but kind of creepy feeling and loud door to a large fan being run. The rooms are clean but dark! And the sheets are not cotton so that’s not great for a good nights sleep.

The staff was so incredibly kind and helpful! Everything was clean and all our needs were met. It was great to be able to walk everywhere. We will be back. We went skiing at Berkshire East, which was about 30 minutes away, I think Jiminy Peak is a little closer.

Overall a great getaway
Perks: the (surprisingly warm) pool and hot tub made our trip, good coffee, chic lobby, nice restaurants within easy walking distance, funky art displays, comfortable room, relatively affordable. Downsides: not sure if we were just unlucky but we had some noisy neighbors, and sound seemed to carry very easily between our rooms (we did eventually ask them to keep it down), and the mattress didn't agree with my husband's back (it was fine for mine). Also, we wished that the hotel offered a breakfast!

Noisy, no hot water, hair dryer not working, only one working elevator so long wait or walked down 5 flights. We thought it would be better under new ownership and competition from new Fairfield but even worse. Will not stay here again.

A Pleasant Say in North Adams
I only stayed two nights, but I had a very nice stay. The location is perfect for both the downtown shops and restaurants, as well as the short walk to Mass MoCA. My room was large and nicely furnished. The microwave and refrigerator are a nice touch. I loved the wood floor throughout the room. I appreciated having soap and lotion in large bottles instead of mini soaps and shampoo. Much less waste. I enjoyed the view overlooking Main Street. I would gladly stay again.
