“The Friendliest Stay Ever!”

People were great! They were very friendly and wanted to assist in any way possible. They were also caring towards my family and genuinely wanted to know how our trip and stay was. Breakfast was also delicious. Made to order breakfast from the kitchen of the adjoined restaurant. The only negative part of my stay was the condition of the bathroom. It was slightly dated and in need of repair and cleaning.

“Nice Hotel but Need New Maid Service”

Front desk personnel was amazingly helpful and thoughtful to our situation. At first glance our room appeared to be clean but upon going to bed we noticed multiple "stains" on the blanket which made the blanket appear to be unwashed and simply put back on the bed. The room my mom & son slept in was clean but their bedding was tattered and ripped at the seam so that was also very disappointing. I will stay there again but will definitely inspect the bedding immeidately upon arrival.

“this COULD really be a nice hotel......”

Location was great..at one point it probably was very nice..the price was right...but...my room was very dusty and the water had a brown tint to it???would I stay again?????not sure...

“Not all the rooms are the same quality.”

Room smelled like cigarette smoke despite being a non-smoking room. The shower curtain was too short and the bathroom floor flooded when I showered. I have stayed in other rooms of the same hotel which were much better. Probably won't stay there again since you don't know what you are going to get when you book on-line.

“Great Deal for the price”

The check-in/out staff were great. The free breakfast was fast and came with a smile. Great deal for the price we paid. Only reason not a 5 had a problem with the air conditioner cooling fast enough, but we checked in late and it was still 95 degrees at 6:30 pm when we got to the room and turned the air on. At the last minute we switched from a king to a double, probably why the air was not on before we got to the room.

“nice overpriced”

it was nice the rooms were small and the tv was small staff was friendly not that many choices on the tv it smealed a little old breakfest was great but you had too buy your own juice it could of been nicer but i guess its just an older motel

“Can't wait to go somewhere else? Not that bad really.”

Front desk service great. Would recommend on that alone. But, maid service blew it to hell. Fair to none at all. Bad. Real bad. First day full maid service but bathroom floor felt tacky walking over it. Second and third day maid service was a "Quickie." Bed straightened, trash emptied, counters cleaned, empty kleenex box and towels not replaced, no bath mat, carpet vacuumed? Or not. Bathroom floor again felt tacky. Always look for maid person to tip them personally when service excels. Definitely not this time.

Area recommendations

Was busy with meeting in largest meeting room in hotel. No car so never discovered Texarkana except for bus ride with group first day and airport shuttle.

“Great Stay”

Had a great stay, staff was accommodating and we used the shuttle to get to a local club for the evening and had a great time.

“not impressed”

The hotel is really showing its age. The stairwells were not user friendly nor were they maintained (leaves-trash) The rooms were okay but felt overall way overpriced
