“Not as expected”

The hotel was not at all as Expedia listed. They said it had a swimming pool but didn't mention that it was seasonal and was closed. The breakfast was less than led to believe. The rooms were wore out. Expedia listed the hotel at 2.5 stars but I wouldn't list it above 2 star.

This hotel is an older one where rooms open to the outside on each floor. The hotel is in a declining area, but is in overall good condition. Amenities include a coffee pot, microwave, and refrigerator. The room was non-smoking, but had a faint smell of cigarettes on arrival...not bad though. Biggest concern was the neighborhood and the number of workers (?) hanging around in the lobby on check in. Could have been the time of day (3:00 PM).

“Quick Night's Stay”

The hotel was nice. The service was fast and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. I wish the t.v. had more channel selections but it was late when I arrived and ended up asleep not long after arriving, so no biggie. The deadbolt lock was hard to turn. Looks like foundation shifting. I had to use my pocket knife to push it forward while pressing the door shut tightly and it locked. Not a big deal for me, but was annoying and is safety related. Other then that everything else was fine. I would reccommend this hotel to friends and family. Espically the nice rate I got at the last minute on a Holiday weekend.

“Will likely go back”

I make a trip once a month to Texarkana, TX. I will likely go back to stay as long as I can continue to get a good deal. The hotel was nice and clean. Unfortunetly this past weekend the pool was closed, in which of course my kids were not too happy about that. But fortunetly we went and found a lake. They also offered a good breakfast. Overall yes I would recommend this hotel to others.
