“What a wonderful night”

Lovely hotel - spent the night there and enjoyed a massage in the spa which was wonderful. Didn't eat there but had drinks in the bar.

“Business Trip - Dec 2011”

The hotel rooms are so tired they need there own bed. No Air con, just very old elctric heaters that are not on when you enter the room, making it very cold on arrival. No Mini Bar - TV takes eterntiy to change channel. Overall premier Inn wold prvide a better pound for pound proposition

“A pleasant stay.”

Stayed for 3 nights in August.Overall quite impressed considering the size of the hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very good Breakfast Buffet. Restaurant good although prices not the cheapest, but to be expected. Leisure facilities good and not too crowded. Nice touches in the deluxe room (fruit, water and small bottle of wine everyday). Would stay again.

“In the middle of splendid isolation but not quiet”

Ask for a room on the garden side otherwise you will be woken at 7.30am with golfers discussing their game and revving up their golf buggies to go out to play. We were also above the kitchen so at midnight the staff seemed to throw the plates onto shelves followed by the saucepans. Not a place for a long lie in.

We went to the three counties show ground, autumn show. Easy to get to and from.

“Not impressed”

When going to our room we noticed a very stong smell of tacacco smoke from several of the rooms.. We booked dinner for the Sunday night. Our main course arrived cold. We returned it and approximately 10 minutes later our same meals were returned to us micro waved. This resulted in the beef having a consistency of shoe leather. The outside of the other ingredients were hot but the inside were still luke warm. Our meals were again returned and we then ordered a fish main course instead. This course was also inedible. We advised the restaurant manager that we were disgusted at the food standards and would not be paying for the meals.

“would go back again”

this hotel is wonderfull i didnt spend much time as i only stayed one night so didnt get to see or use the leisure facilities but it looked great from the outside. the car park was very busy and struggled to park the car even tho it had 3 in total. The room was very nice and the bed very comfy the bath was to small for 2 people to have a bath. The breakfast fantastic you could have what you wanted and how much you wanted the the staff where always around if you needed topping up with tea or coffee. staff very friendly and helpfull. would definately go back but would stay for the 2 nights so i could have more time to look around and go in the leisure complex.

“Disappointed”

Given the price charged, I expected a lot better. Bath was dirty when we arrived, heating was on despite warm Summer weather, soft furnishings in restaurant and bar were stained and grubby. Service was polite and helpful, though.

“Perfect for a relaxing stay”

We were looking for a peaceful, relaxing stay, and this hotel was just perfect. Staff very helpful. We made full use of the leisure facilities, including the Spa and were very impressed. Would definately return.

“Wedding Reception and Golf”

Went here for a family wedding reception - played golf day before on very nice course suitable for all players. Hotel very welcoming and comfortable. Breakfast very good and the wedding breakfast was excellant food in the very nice setting of the ballroom. An altogether excellant experience and we will return for short breaks in the future.
