Sheraton La Caleta, lovely staff

The hotel is situated in the quiet and pretty area of La Caleta. It is almost on the rocky beach with stunning views and sounds of the sea. The hotel is built in a way that is sympathetic to its sea front setting. It has the feel of a little village with greenery and lush flowers to create separate areas. It never felt crowed to me. I loved the sea water pool but there are several fresh water too. My overall feeling was of space and calm. I was a solo traveller and my room was large and had everything to make it comfortable with a private balcony with super views over the pool and sea. I was not keen on the mini bar in my room as it more of a mini vending machine ! I paid extra for the club breakfast , afternoon tea and drinks with canapés. I really enjoyed the club breakfast as it was table service much quieter and the staff really attentive and strived to give a personal service which is a lovely way to begin the day. Jorge and his staff were so kind and obviously understood the importance of excellent service as did most of the staff. Smiling and helpful. It's obvious that the hotel needs a little upgrading but never the less it was spotless. I found the food disappointing. I certainly would stay there again but eat out more often. Lovely staff trying their very best for their guests

Excellent Hotel

Pros: Friendly service. Good facilities. Great food. Good location.
Location: Good location on the coast with a walk-way which will take you all the way to Los Christianos
This was our second holiday to this hotel. Great service, friendly staff and great food. We will be back!

Good experience

Hotel overall is great. Spa is fantastic and staff couldn't be more helpful. Note thought that beach is 10 mins walk away. My kids didn't like the saltwater pool as it was too cold and the other outdoor pool though heated was too deep to relax in. Buffet restaurant was very good but expensive so book half board. Breakfast was excellent. Overall would stay again.

Not as nice as expected

Pros: incredibly friendly staff; super quick taxi from TFS airport; comfortable poolside chairs; decent sized rooms with nice closets; breakfast buffet has wide selection; spa has nice outdoor relaxation area. Cons: cold hot tubs both in the main pool and the spa/wellness centre; wifi is expensive and can be weak; food is pretty mediocre (similar to airport quality), not all of the restaurants advertised are open every day ... room service is overpriced and underwhelming (when requested bread to go with a cheese plate - as plate had been delivered sans anything but loads of cheese - received four crackers and half a handful of tortilla chips); the outdoor evening entertainment can be quite loud and late/heard through glass doors on balconies (bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper and early to bed); housekeeping spotty (the one day it was requested came back to find room 'clean' but dirty dishes weren't cleared, water glasses and bath towels weren't replaced). All those cons plus some cloudy weather prompted me to check out two days early.

We appreciate your kind words concerning our staff, poolside chairs, the rooms, the selection of the breakfast buffet and the relaxation area in the Spa. On the other side, we do regret that some points of your stay were not at all to your liking. Regarding your comment on the outdoor Jacuzzi in the main pool, it has an average temperature of 30 degrees, which is checked daily by our maintenance staff. We do apologize if it wasn’t to your liking. We have also informed the Spa center about your concerns. We will definitely forward your comment about the Wifi to the IT Manager as we have updated our Wifi system recently and there should be a strong signal in the entire resort. We will definitely look further in to this matter. Concerning the free Wifi, we inform all our guests about the possibility to enjoy free Internet in our Link@Sheraton. Our à-la-carte restaurants Kamakura and La Venta have weekly closures, on the contrary, the Pool restaurant Vivace and the buffet restaurant El Parador are open every day. On our website and inside the hotel we announce the weekly program of our restaurants. As you have only stayed three days in our hotel, you probably haven’t been able to enjoy all restaurants, and we really do apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. As you chose the “Make a Green Choice” program, Housekeeping was informed to clean only every 3 days, then they change sheets and towels and leave clean glasses. We are very sorry for any misunderstanding regarding this program, but we will let Housekeeping know about this situation. Concerning the entertainment in the hotel, we have passed your feedback to our Management team. Once again, we want to apologize for not having been able to satisfy your expectations. We’re sorry the weather wasn’t of a great help either to make your stay a more enjoyable one. Please be assured we take into account all comments, complaints and suggestions, as with these we can adapt our facilities and services to our customers´ tastes and needs. Second stay.

Pros: The helpful and eager to please staff.
Cons: Very little and it would be pedantic to single out any slight problems.
Location: At the end of the strip but close enough to the main shops eateries and la Caleta.
We have stayed twice in two years that says we rate this hotel highly. The staff in all areas are friendly, efficient and good to deal with.

Very nice hotel, expensive food

Pros: Large pool, no difficulties obtaining sun lounger (although we did not go in peak season and it was clear this hotel was not full at this time)
Cons: The price of dining if you had not purchased the full / half board options
Location: Located at the far North of Costa Adeje, difficult to access without a car, would recommend car hire if staying at this resort
Stayed at this hotel in June 2014. Welcomed by very knowledgeable and helpful staff at check in desk, upgraded to a club room, given a welcome drink, very good first impressions.

It was amazing short stay

It was amazing stay in Sheraton resort. Staff were very friendly and always helpful with good manner. Also, we were surprised by sweet surprise for the anniversary. Thank you for all staff who made our stay more comfortable and unforgettable. The facility is very good as other Sheraton resort and we loved it and would like to come back again.
