“Excellent hotel”
Extremelly well run hotel and well looked after by all staff, If your looking for a relaxed hoilday in Tenerife then I would strongly recommend this hotel.
“Perfect short break and planning the next stay at Sheraton la Caleta”
Superb customer service by every member of staff from the minute we walked into the hotel lobby until the minute we left. This was our fist time in Tenerife and we will definately return to Sheraton La Caleta. The facilities were excellent from the well stocked breakfast buffet to the Spa and range of treatments and products, we were spoilt for choice. Three excellent restaurants on site and a range of day eateries to delight your tastebuds and a fabulous location for an evening coctail before dinner or the final night cap before retiring to the very comfortable bedrooms. The views are amazing too from every angle of the hotel.
“Excellent experience in Tenerife”
The Sheraton La Caleta is a lovely property with impeccable service. We could not have been happier with our stay. The resort is situated in a nice area of Tenerife that is not overrun with touristy establishments. The food and beverage prices are a bit high, but the food is high quality and it's easy to find less expensive options nearby. Right outside the hotel, there's a natural look out point that provides excellent views of the sea. There is also a cairn beach directly in front of the hotel, and a volcanic black sand beach 2 minutes away. The entire coastline is connected with a very nice boardwalk that enables you to easily explore the coast to find good restaurants, shops, etc.
“Great Hotel”
Lovely hotel, we booked delux room which was large, the bed was super, the bathroom was fabulous, everywhere was clean and bright, staff are very friendly. The breakfast was very good lots of choice and the dining room is next to one of the pools a beautiful settling. We would recommend this hotel.
“very relaxing stay”
Very welcoming and helpful staff from the minute we arrived until we finally checked out. The hotel and facilities were always spotless and being regularly checked. Service was always on hand when required but never intrusive. The surrounding area is ready for some future development with cleared sites but one is only aware of this when approaching the hotel. Once inside the campus nature of the hotel/gardens/pools etc insulates guests from the surroundings in a cocoon of peace. In the rooms there is only a very limited freeview TV package (news channels and eurosport) and no wifi access unless delivered as part of an expensive entertainment package.
“beautiful hotel, stunning views”
this hotel is one of the best I have stayed in. The welcome was wonderful, reception staff were very professional, the location is great, right in front of the sea, and the instalations are gorgeous. There are two swimming pools, one with sea water and the hotel has a direct entrance to the beach. The food in the buffet restaurant is outstanding, I could not believe how much variety there was and the ingredients used were top class. I am a foodie so when I go on holiday I like to eat well and this hotel certainly provided that. The buffet meals were a bit pricey (38euros pp) but the food was well worth the cost. The only downside is that the restaurant has a dress code and on one night my husband was forced to go back to his room and put shoes instead of flip flops on (a bit strange in a resort) and then 5 minutes later a group of older men walked in wearing flip flops and no one told them to go to their room! I was not happy with this, it was our third time dining in the restaurant and I felt we were not treated with respect possibly due to the fact we are a young couple. I may be young but I know how I like to be treated and spoken to and that was not it. Other than that, have nothing else negative to say about the hotel, everything we experienced was beyond our expectations and we would definately stay here again if we were to return to Tenerife
“Canary Holiday”
Spent little more than a week at the Sherton and had a great time. Front desk and staff pretty were fluent in English and other languages. They were very helpful and got us started off on a great vacation. The Hotel isn't mashed together with all the other lesser hotels so the area is quiet and safe. Your close enough to walk to the other resturants in the area and there are always taxi's avaiable at or around the hotel. The hotel looks great and the views are great. The Spa is very nice and the staff were very respectful. With the ocean right out the back of the hotel and the two pools you have plenty of space to spread out and relax. Only area that was a little disapointing was the prices of the food but the rooms, staff, and location make up for it greatly. My wife and I will surely return sometime in the future and will be recommending it to all our friends heading to Tenerife.
“Very successful”
Good hotel, excellent staff and service. Don't bother with the new all inclusive kids pass for your children as it's not accepted in the poolside Coral Bar, which was the only place my kids wanted to eat and drink. Only negative was 45 euro charge for wifi, which is ridiculous for something that should be free - as it is in many more enlightened hotels across the world.
“Superb Hotel but remote and Guests should book Club rooms”
Stayed here for 9 days at end March. Weather was fantastic. The La Caleta is situated far end of Adeje and there are no bars or restaurants in immediate area. A 10-15min walk along the promenade brings you to the restaurants of Del Duque and one or two bars. Continue and then you have Fanabe and Torviscas or beyond. The hotel is 5* but not outlandish or extravagant. The rooms are well furnished and spacious and bathrooms are excellent. The Club rooms are on higher floors and have better views, but beware costs. There are two pools, one freshwater and heated, the other large saltwater. The sunbeds are plentiful and are vailable until midday. Pool staff are excellent. Breakfast is okay but gets a bit boring after a week. Preferred to eat out for dinner so used restaurants elsewhere. Not much entertainment at hotel so travelled out each night. Taxi's are cheap 3-4e nearesr bars or 10e to the Safari Centre (definitely worth visit). Overall hotel is very nice but beware best rooms and service go to spg members. Would I recommend this hotel?. Yes the hotel is very nice, but it is remote so be prepared to walk/taxi. Next entertainment is not enough so either you go elsewhere or accept it. Would I go back, probably not. I would opt for something nearer Del Duque and ensure 5* hotel/service without the conf delegates hopefully.
