“7th May”

Have just spent a week at this hotel and it was fabulous, we will definately be going back. The best part of the hotel for me was the pool side and looking out to sea. It's perfect if you just want to relax all day. The food and staff were nice, our room was perfect, lots of space, could of done with a few more blankets at night time, the bathroom was great too. The downside was the evening entertainment, there wasn't much going on and outside the resort wasn't that nice. The cleaners also made a lot of noise in the mornings cleaning other rooms.

“Fantastic place to just chill out”

We returned last week from our short stay at this hotel. We chose this Hotel against others because it had a spa and excellent reviews. We were looking for somewhere to just relax, eat and drink and this place really hit the spot. The Hotel and pool area are kept spotless the staff very welcoming and helpful. We did all inclusive for 6 adults 4 nights superior rooms. The rooms and bathrooms were excellent and well worth the extra few quid. There was always plenty of room by the pool and the hotel provide a towel to lay on and another to dry yourself, which you can change daily. We had absolutly no problem with stuff going yellow in the pool and I have 2 pairs of white swim trunks to prove it. All inclusive drinks were ok (dorada beer and local spirits, house wine), served until 11pm, although they were very relaxed about us getting an extra couple of rounds in at 11. The quality and quantity of food was excellent. If you stay for a week or more you would have to be very disciplined. We were there for 4 nights so it was 3 courses for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We did not venture out much but there is a wide seafront path to the front of the hotel but not really anywhere to walk to. There is a small beach you can access from the hotel with room card and there are beds you can take with you. The area leading to the hotel is a bit scruffy but if you want a change of scenery the Brittannia Pub is just up the road and very welcoming. This is truly a great place to relax and unwind

“Perfect for relaxation within the confines of the hotel.”

Surrounding area is pretty grotty but the hotel itself is faultless! Would definately return if needed a good rest in the sun!

“Can't wait to go back!”

We have just spent a lovely Easter at the Roca Nirvaria Gran Hotel. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble we even got a late check out on our day of departure. The staff were lovely to my 10 year old daughter who has had a great time in the fab swimming pools.Rooms were spotless and food was great.Views over the sea from the Hotel are wonderful. All in all a super holiday.

“Excellent 5 star hotel”

This is a large, resort style hotel, and quite new. We were very impressed by the standards of service, and quality of the accommodation. All areas were spotlessly clean, as was our room. The staff was obviously very well trained, being courteous, professional and friendly. The room was lovely, the free upgrade being a very pleasant surprise! The standard of the food was excellent, with a choice of a buffet meal, a Spanish and an Italian Restaurant, all serving delicious food. The pool area was impressive, as there were two large pools, one being a freshwater infinity pool. There is also a large jacuzzi and a children's pool. We were able to sunbathe whilst overlooking the sea - so relaxing! There was also the option of sunbathing on a grassed area, under palm trees, which some may prefer. There was entertainment offered every evening, most of which was very good. The one disadvantage, we found, was that there was not much going on in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, with hardly any restaurants. If you intend not to go half board/all inclusive, bear in mind that you may need a car to take you to alternative restaurants if you feel like a change. There is a well stocked local supermarket very close by. The gym was well equipped, though there were no drinking water or towels available, for some reason. We regard ourselves as being fairly particular about our holidays, but would not hesitate to return to this hotel.

“Fab hotel for a serious chill out.”

We have just spent 5 nights at this fab hotel with 2 teenagers and an 8 year old. Never been to Tenerife before so we were a little worried! The hotel is located away from the main centre of Adeje and you would have to go by car or the regular bus shuttle from the hotel. To us this was a plus point as the hotel is well positioned right on the shore (although no beach)and quite peaceful. There are two main freeform pools, the larger is heated and slightly salty (28 degrees) and the lower one is fresh water and quite cool (21 degrees!)Plenty of sun beds by the lower pool and you get 2 free towels each! Had to be quick by the warm pool!We were upgraded to two junior suites because we had a child in our room. The room was massive with two separate sleeping areas, huge bathroom and balcony with a view across the sea to La Gomerera? Great for sunset watching. The staff were very helpful, polite and efficient. No probem with service in the restaurants, in fact they were so quick with the food at the pool restaurant it was a standing joke. It was extremely clean and well kept. Food buffet excellent. Lots of free sports for the teenagers- archery, air pistols, tennis and table tennis organised by Vicktor and the sports team. We've been to many 4 and 5 star hotels and this was up there with the best of them. We will return to enjoy the winter sun at this fab hotel- which I don't say often!!

“Did what it said on the 5 star tin!”

Plus points: Cleanliness, staff efficiency and courtesy, great grub, lovely swimming pools, uncrowded bars, fantastic gym/spa, overall a terrific place to relax. Negative points: A week wasn't long enough!

“Great time out from busy lives”

Absolutely perfect choice for us as we went to escape being busy and soak up some sunshine in high quality surroundings! Beautiful room (we were upgraded on arrival) beautiful pool area which was surprisingly quiet for the Easter week (tip: it is crowded by the children's pool and heated pool but walk 30 seconds further on to find a quiet, spacious area with sea views and a kiosk selling espresso/beer etc) and the evening meals on the terrace overlooking the odean was great. Typical Tenerife buffet meals but plenty of choice and something for everyone. Free shuttle bus to sister hotel gives easy access to the smart shops at El Duque and the lovely seafront bars at El Duque. Absolutely nothing in the immediate area worth venturing out for although it looks like an El Duque style shopping/bar mall thing is being opened adjacent to the hotel soon. Bit rough to have to pay 10 euros a day to use the fridge in your room - we didn't! Water and wine available from the supermarket 2 minutes up the road if you'd like to avoid the expensive hotel prices. Went as a couple but considering going back with our teenager children next year.
