As a single woman traveller I had a great stay. I found the hotel staff welcoming, helpful and efficient. A small problem with the shower was fixed within minutes of my reporting it. My room was a good sized double room looking out onto a quiet back street with pleasant balcony. The hotel is spotlessly clean and recently re-decorated with a contemporary feel. I found the food in the restaurant offered a wide choice with good variation over the week. The waiters were polite and helpful. I used the lagoon type pool and sat out in the gardens when it was not too cool. This hotel is ideal for couples or singles wanting a quiet break... it is away from the noise of the centre of town with good sports facilities and excellent public transport links nearby. Walking into the centre takes about 15 minutes going down but longer coming up... the hotel is situated uphill from the main town. The wifi worked well in the reception area but not in individual rooms. I enjoyed my 9 days and felt relaxed and chilled at the end of my stay. This is the sixth time I have stayed at this hotel and look forward to returning.
Absolutely lovely apartments, beautifully decorated and very well looked after. Extremely quiet & always plenty of sun beds.
Staff extremely friendly but not intrusive in the slightest.
The only downside is the cost. Whilst head and shoulders above anywhere else I've stayed in Tenerife in terms of quality, it's also a lot more expensive.

If you decide to pay for parking you are asked for a 20 euro deposit for the barrier fob on return of the fob I asked for my deposit back and was told it was not hotel policy to request a deposit for the fob and there was no record of my deposit!!! Just be aware. Other than that no problems at all
This was our 2nd stay at the Cristian Sur Apts, the staff in the cafe bar are great and so welcoming and helpful, the food is excellent and they serve a wicked g & t lol. Our room this year needed a little tlc and didnt have a microwave plus we had to pay for the remote control in order to use the television, sign of the times maybe!! My family age range was from 13 to 79 and it suited us all, the only big gripe is that it dosnt have a lift so with our room being on the 2nd floor it was a bit of a stuggle for my dad. We would diffinately stay there again but on the ground floor. I miss it already and I've only been home 1 day, heres to next year.

This hotel is run by a very friendly and welcoming family, who were just delightful - enjoyed post-dinner backgammon with their 11 year old son. It has a great views; we loved sitting on our balcony looking down to the sea, 10 miles away, and surrounding wooded hills. It makes a great base from which to explore El Teide and the National Park with its stunning rock formations. Vilaflor itself struck us as a rather straggling village; the hotel is walking distance from cafes and restaurants - inaccessible in our case as we need a wheelchair and the gradients are steep. But the hotel does provide dinner on request, an option which most guests seemed to take up.
When we first arrived we were pleasantly surprised and extremely happy with the size and contents of the room as we felt the photos on the internet didnt do it any justice. A lot of activities for the children to enjoy and a very calm and relaxed atmosphere around the place made us feel very comfortable. The location of the hotel couldnt of been any better with just a short walk to the local shops, supermarkets and the wonderful beach.

This hotel was very nice and the rooms were clean. The food served in the hotel was good at both breakfast and dinner. The staff were helpful but not overly friendly. However, the cost of the in room safety depositi box and television was extortionate and I was quite disappointed with this. Parking was limited. The only main grumble I have is that the hotel is nowhere near Guia De Isora, it is ipractically in Puerto de Santiago and, because of this, we got extremely lost in trying to locate the hotel on arrival.
