“A great hotel!”

Hotel Paradise Park was a perfect hotel for my girlfriend and I to get away too! Located to the east of Los Cristianos the hotel staff were very helpful on arrival and we both felt welcomed. A helpful information pack as also providing given info on everyting we needed to know! The room was great as well, balconey, good shower ect. The room was very clean. Going for the B and B option we discovered breakfast was very good with everything you could think of to eat cooked and presented at a good standard. The 3 pool options were also great and could accomidate families as well as couples such as us. Would recomend the roof top pool for something abit different, as it is adults only and with a nice bar too! The area around is very freindly too, with plenty for great places to go out for a bit to eat! Overall, I would recoment this hotel to familes and couples, but possibly not young larger groups as it too far away from the party area of Las Americas. A great hotel at a resonable price and worth every penny!

Area recommendations
The Los Cristianos area which our hotel was located in was very nice, fairly quite but still with plenty of places to go out and eat. The area I would reccomend to everyone is Las Vistas, located between Los Cristianos and Las Americas. It has the best beach out of the three, loads of places to eat and a great shopping area as well, full of some well know chains but also smaller shops with some good gift ideas. Venturing into Las Americas me and my girlfreind discovered is was definately a place for groups to go, which it would be a in a group, but not so attractive for a couple... Las Vistas for me, was the place to go!
Shopping
Go to Las Vistas with a wide range of shops and dont be afraid to barter!
Dining
Some truly great places to eat in Las Vistas with a whole range of choices and something for everyone!
Outdoors or beach
Las Vistas was definatley the best! Lots of activities to do such as water sports, as well as just relaxing on the beach.

“Fantastic Hotel !”

A great hotel, four swimming pools, restuarant, bars, nightly entertainment, approx. fifteen minutes walk to the centre. Can't fault it and would certainly return. Very relaxing.

“Good hotel but you can be misled”

Having read previous reviews on this hotel on expedia, we went bed and breakfast in Feb10. Breakfast full English was fine. In evening we tried the indian and chinese restrurants down from hotel towards beach both were fine but skip lobster in Indian its frozen naff and meal was 38euro with no starter or wine. We discovered the aberdeen steakhouse walking straight along on the level from the hotel, their 3 course meal including 8oz fillet steak was only 8euro! we went there for the rest of the week. Hotel suggested and booked our 1/2 day trip to mount Teide and assured us that company would tell reception the day before if the cable car was not working due to bad weather. We went on trip and coach went nowhere near cabel car (opposite side of Teide) and we were told by the driver that it had not been working for several days as the cables were frozen. The trip was rubbish and a waste of ot holiday so we claimed our 2x 25euro back from hotel which they paid. This seemed a bit of a scam that most people would except. Rooms can be quite cold, the center atrium area is open so at night if you open the balcony door (to sit or smoke) a cold wind blows through. Note the pool is not heated and water cold. Entertainment was naff early and 10.30 was too late to start the better stuff. Curtesy coach was in fir service on Saturday and didnt run Sunday The hotel was very clean, room sevice excellent and generally the hotel was good

When to go
toute l'année, il fait toujours beau
Getting there
What to pack
Must see
La Gomera, le Teide
Shopping
Las Americas, Santa cruz
Dining
Events and shows
Pas vu...
Outdoors or beach

Getting there
Must see
Dining
Il cibo è buono e costa meno rispetto all'Italia (Milano).
Outdoors or beach
Other

Area:

Los Cristianos, Arona, Spain: The old fishing harbour teems with pleasure boats, fishing boats, and ferries chugging to and from La Gomera; a day trip here is highly recommended. To either side of the port lie two large man-made beaches. Although Los Cristianos is an unashamed fun-and-sun family resort, some vestiges of the old settlement remain amidst the many hotels, pubs, clubs, shops and restaurants. There are several attractions close by in Playa de las Américas.
