Mostly very good

Posted 01-May-2014
Stayed in a bungalow, which was spacious and clean, but kitchen facilities were very limited (2 ring hob, microwave, fridge, no sharp knives or chopping board, no washing up liquid). Pools were lovely, especially the children's one. They are heated and a really pleasant temperature, and slides etc in kids pool. The staff were really helpful and friendly, nice bar beside pool. Food at buffet breakfast good. The kids club was a disappointment though. The very young staff running it didn't speak much English, and my daughter felt excluded and wouldn't go back after her first try. Most children attending were German, but lots of English ones by pool etc, so I would guess other English speaking children maybe felt the same? We enjoyed the bouncy castle and playground facilities, but it'd have been nice for my daughter to meet some little friends at kids club.

Reasonable value for money

Room ok, food in quantity but quality so so with inconsistencies in the breakfast buffet offer throughout the week (i.e. Fresh juice only every 2nd or 3rd day)

Bungalow rooms perfect for a family

Posted 14-Apr-2014
Pros: Bungalow rooms were a great size
Cons: Maintenance and decoration of rooms
Location: Nice walk to beach. Close to pother hotels and restaurants but not too busy like Playa de las Americas
The hotel was great. Bungalow rooms were a great size for a family of 4 although in need of some maintenance works. Food was excellent with lots of choice. Pool was perfect and the smaller kids pool was perfect for babies and toddlers with lots of shade. Entertainment was good and all staff were very polite. Location is also great. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel, would have been better if we had had a room with sun facing balcony. Hotel was very clean with excellent facilities.

Not necessarily fans of "package holiday" destinations and this is certainly a FAMILY hotel, as it is described. However it's more impressive than first imagined. The staff were very friendly and professional and the food was amazing. As good, if not better, than many upmarket American hotel buffets. Breakfast was overrun with choice and dinner was even better, of a high quality too. The room was probably not as smart as we'd expected from a 4* hotel, but clean and comfortable. Good location, quiet and also good value upon reflection.

Nice enough hotel. Good standard with everything you need. Fairly quiet location but not too far from anything. Would recommend and stay again.

Room basic but clean. Facilities within the hotel were great though. Plenty of sun beds, pool was lovely and food was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Not for older couples

Posted 06-May-2013
Pros: The chalets are cleaned every day & the staff are polite & helpful
Cons: The chimney stack outside of our chalet
Location: This location not suitable for the elderly or those with walking difficulties
this hotel is mainly for couples with children.in chalet 684 there is a chimney stack beside it ,which means you can't sit outside at your table as black soot blows all over this area.If you are older couples or have walking difficulties this hotel is in a very hilly part of town and not suitable if you wish to go down to the beach front where most of the bars, restaurants & shops are.Apart from that my wife & I had a pleasant week there
