Excellent hotel sitting on the sea front. Restaurant at front of hotel, so enjoy meals with fantastic view. Pedestrianised path in front of hotel, so convenient for walking to the centre of Puerto de la Cruz. Rooms big and clean. Pool area has 2 pools and outdoor jacuzzi, all spotlessly clean. Staff are very helpful

The personnel at the reception were very helpful, cordials & provided me with further information concerning other sightseeing tours.

“Good Location”

The hotel was in a great location and staff were friendly and helpful. If you are hiring a car however, be aware that there are no parking facilities at the hotel and very liitle street parking. The public car park can get quite costly! Apart from that we had a fantastic stay and the town has lots of shops and restaurants.

“Place to relax”

Nice place with good view. Good food and friendly personnel. The pools infront of the hotel do not belong to the hotel but with an entrance fee open to public and creates a good view for the hotel. There are many old cute couples. Overall, quite satisfied.

“Our May retreat.”

We last visited this hotel 28 years ago when it was classified as a five stars. Prior to booking this trip, we did as we usually do and referred to several review sites to find good to excellent reviews. We were not disappointed with what we found, and in particular the friendliness and professionalism of the staff was extremely impressive. As an added bonus, we were treated to some very good evening entertainment which was varied and performed to a high level. This will be a hotel that we'll use again.

“Good hotel on seafront”

We loved the hotel as did our two teenage girls (stayed 19th-24th July). Staff were friendly and helpful -kept a cold dinner for us on our late arrival. We stayed half board - good food -disadvantage is that one misses the opportunity to dine out, but can always go out for a drink anyway. A small beach (not crowded) in front of the hotel and a lovely view. Missed coffee and tea facilities in room. Dodgy reviews in the past - but really did not apply to us. One reason why there may be fewer British people may be the flights to North Airport come from the continent. It's on a pedestrianised area - so didn't hire car. Didn't really sample the hotel entertainment (out at night).Nice pools too. Felt best choice for location, and would go back if in Puerto.

“Great hotel, great location, great town”

This is the fifth time we have stayed at this hotel and we would not want to stay anywhere else in Tenerife. We love Puerto de la Cruz and this hotel is perfectly situated on the esplanade and close to Lido Martianez. It is ideally located for older people because the town, restaurants and other attractions are within easy walking distance without going up or down hills.

“Holiday in H10 Tenerife Playa”

Very friendly staff, clean rooms, but hotel rooms are small and need be updated. Hotel and enviroment around hotel is suitable for adults only. We were happy there and I will recomend this hotel to others who like solid service and relax in a 4* hotel the old generation.

Overall a pretty good choice! Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were very clean and overall the hotel is in good shape. Fantastic view of lago martianez and the ocean from my room. It's true that it is not like the resorts in the south of the island, but that was better for me. Weather had periods of cloudiness (which can sometimes be a nice break), but the sun broke through every day. I didn't eat at the hotel so I can't comment. It's at one edge of the boardwalk so perfect views and ocean noise without lots of bar/tourist noise, yet near enough to all the action. It's location in front of Lago martianez really makes this a good choice (pic attached). I got a good price and I think early June is not the most expensive so it was great for what I paid.
