“H10 Las Palmeras”
Nice Hotel. Friendly, big, good location, lots to do. But two major problems: 1 ) The hotel walls are wafer thin. we could lie in at night and listen, quite easily, to our neighbours conversations. A serious let down. SERIOUS. Couldn't sleep at all. Couldn't make a noise for fear of disturbing anyone. Changed rooms to no avail. 2) What we ordered isn't what we got, although we were told it was. We asked for a twin double room, but got a twin bed only. Apparantly that is what was in our package, but Expedia said otherwise. Other than these, the place was great, the food was excellent, the atmosphere was top notch. the staff were great, helped us organise and plan our time there. Was great for the family too. Our two year old son enjoyed it too. Wish I could have slept though.
“We would return to hotel.”
We went last week of January. Average age of guests was probably 65 which suited us as we are of that age. (Guests of many nationalities - mostly northern Europe.) Entertainment was geared accordingly with dancing every evening. Food generally excellent - buffet plus grill. Back gate (through grounds of hotel) out to promenade - level walking so suits elderly or infirm persons. Charge made for use of safe in room. Refundable 10 Euro hire charge for TV controller. (Our room had fridge but that may not be standard.)
“Great location”
The rooms were a bit worn out and the beds not comfortable. The pictures of the hotel don't match the hotel itself and the description 'several restaurants in the hotel' I only found one restaurant. But the location is great, the staff was great and the food was ok.
“4 stars ?”
hi, the H10 las palmeras - like complete costa de las amercas- has seen its peek a few years ago => the 4 stars are still from the beginning, now Id give it a very good 2 stars or a bad 3 stars. the food was very good, the service was fast and friendly, but the interior has seen better times. the rooms espescially in teh cheap category (1st and 2nd floor) are tiny, luckily we had a bungalow which was perfect in space and comfort and had was more quiet then the rooms to the street. 15 min to the beautiful beach in Los Christianos and 10 min to the next beach in costa adeje (beach for swimming, for surfing Las americas is fine), Pool clean and big , well maintained, with lifeguard! Las Americas is more expensive then Adeje and los christianos, its worth checking the prices and to go a bit further for shopping & food outside the hotel (Ice cream and souvenirs) Fazit: Hotel clean and good service , excellent food but interior a bit battered. Area interesting for those that love night life :) Have fun and perfect sunshine :)
“H10 Palmeras Tenerife - vicino a divertimenti e mare”
“Hotel accogliente tornero”

Playa de las Americas, Spain: Famous for its boisterous nightlife, Playa de las Américas attracts youthful revellers, as well as budget family holidaymakers, from all over northern Europe. By day the young slumber on the black-sand beach while families can enjoy one of the many attractions such as the dolphin show at Octopus Aquapark, or Parque las Aguilas (Eagles Park) to see free-flying birds of prey. A boat trip from neighbouring Los Cristianos to La Gomera is recommended.
