“Brilliant!!!!”
The hotel was brilliant! Yes, it isn't brand new but it's huge and i loved it. The room was spacious and very clean, with beautiful courtains (i know, it's not the most important thing on holidays but it did look lovely). All rooms have big balconies and even though we didn't have an ocean view, we loved it (also, there was a chance of changing the room as we've been told, we just didn't bother...). Were on breakfast option only, have to say, excellent food, plenty to choose from. Very polite and helpful staff! But most of all the pool area is brilliant! Green, spacious and with 2 pretty big pools, jacuzzi and a small pool for kids, not to mention the beautiful ocean view and the ocean just few steps away from the hotel. We did love the location, it wasn't so crowdy as Playa de Las Americas, but there were a few good restaurants around, and mostly Spanish with excellent food and good prices (last thing we look for on holidays in Spain is a British pub;-)) Besides there's always a taxi in front of the hotel to take you anywhere in the island really, pretty cheap as well. All in all, we loved the hotel and were happy we stayed there. I would definitely recommend it.
“An excellent 4* hotel”
The breakfast experience is not to be missed, the staff are very friendly and the selection of foods are extensive to everyones tastes. The guests are in the main couples,so it was quiet and relaxing by the pools. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.Outside the hotel there is not very much to do but they do run a free shuttle bus to Playa de las americas otherwise a taxi.
“Pleasant quiet hotel”
Nice Hotel Quiet and on the front out of the way of noise and shops. Great for walking to and from. Building work was happening opposite our balcony but that was just unfortunate at the time ?another hotel or pipe work. We were above the staff entrance on the side of the hotel which was very noisy, day and night and the bins under us were emptied every day at 6am all 8 bins!!! Pleasant buffet food. Mostly good waiter service, some cutlery and crockery shortages at times and luke warm coffee at breakfast every day. Courtesy free bus not widely known about by guests more word of mouth. Clean room. Terrible mattress. Safety deposit box in the room still required a daily rental charge! Enjoyable holiday despite the moans. Lovely setting,if you don't mind walking which we don't. Poolside pleasant. Free sun towels. Recommend for quiet holiday! Not as good as some of the other H10 hotels that we have stayed in before but we would go again.
“Costa adeje Hotel”
If you are there more than 7 nights the buffet becomes boring and quality is not brilliant with regard to the hot food. Salads etc are good. There is no Wi-Fi in rooms it is only in Piano bar or business centre, which is poor for a hotel of this quality. Only 2 computers available for public use.
“Hotel Fine - shame about reception”
The food was good, the staff were friendly but if you are looking to check in or out in less than an hour think again. The reception staff were not very quick at sorting things out!
“New buzzword lateral sea view”
Our request for a room with a seaview appeared to be ovelooked as the view comprised waste ground, the service road and a caravan site. What joy to be kept awake at night as the local boy racers sped up and down, only to be woken again by the bin lorry at 6am. We requested a change which was granted, however our new room provided an unobstructed view onto the balconies of the adjoining hotel. The sea was just about visible from here, we had to take turns to lean out to enjoy the view. We finally got our sea view after much negotiation and paying a premium. On a better note all three of our rooms were lovely, the food was lovely and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is very impressive with lovely facilities. Just be very wary of the term "lateral" sea view, "virtual" sea view would be more appropriate.
“4 Star hotel run like a holiday camp”
The hotel itself is fine. The building is impressive and the pools are lovely. Although it is a fair way away from anything else and building work next door means that the seafront promenade to Caletta is closed, taxis are plentiful and cheap. However it just does not provide a four star experience. On our first night no room was available and we were moved to an awful room in a really grotty hotel elsewhere in the resort. Check in is under-staffed and slow. Service elsewhere is hit and miss. The air-con and shower in our room were both defective. Piano Bar entertainment is painfully bad (We didn't try an evening show). Pool towels ran out regularly and took up to an hour to appear. The gym is a joke - about 5 pieces of cardio equipment, most of which were broken. The mini-bar is empty and you have to request it to be filled. No bar food available and the selction of beers is very limited.
