The seafront Ritz Apartments are part of the Casa Club, Amarilla Golf and Country Club and about a mile from the Clubhouse down on the rocky seafront. The small amount extra we paid for the sea view was well worth it, with nothing but a rocky wilderness between the large terrace and the sea about 100m away. The gate to the heated community swimming pool was right opposite the front door to our apartment No.A1! The apartment itself was well furnished, comfortable and very clean with an en-suite to the main bedroom.
The nearest supermarket, run by expat Brits, is about a 10 minute walk away whilst a 20 minute walk along a well maintained coastal footpath, past the marina is a small selection of restaurants.
If you want a quiet, get away from it all break, or to play golf, then this location is ideal.

we have just returned from a week at this hotel. we had a 3 bed villa for 6 people with our own pool. All the hotel and villas was excellent and the breakfast was first class. If you are looking for a quite holiday in lovely villa then this is the place to go.
Really lovely holiday, staff were all very helpful, and very accommodating.
Would definitely go back, next time i would book the 2 bed apartment just to have a little extra room, the sofa bed obviously in the living area, and really only suitable for children in my opinion.

Amazing stay!!! Upon arrival we were welcomed by Elsa who was fantastic. We were lucky to be offered a free upgrade to the villas with access to private adult pool. This made a statement for the entire stay. Pool service was excellent, did not go an hour without being asked several times if everything was ok, in addition we received free poolside treats. Room was cleaned twice a day. The facilities were very nice and the breakfast was tasty. We dined at the onsite Michelin star restaurant MB which lived up to its reputation and more. Also managed to get in a round of golf which is a must as this shows the best views of the resort. The only fault I would say is that staying in the villas you rely on hotel buggies to pick you up from your room to get you to the other areas of the resort and to the main hotels and on 3 of the 4 occasions we called to be picked up no one ever came. We had to wait up to 20 mins at one point near the villa entries and flag down a buggie to ask to be taken to the top. If this area could be improved upon o efficiency and consistency it would make the stay in the Villas more relaxing. However, despite this, the hotel is still first class and so are the staff! I would return again and recommend to anyone without hesitation. Elsa made our weekend a cut above the rest.
Had a great week with my girlfriend in this Hotel! 6.-13.09.! Very helpful and super friendly staff members, clean room, nice see view, nice music every evening, big and clean pool, no trouble to find a sunny place, a lot of chillout furnitures all over the hotel complex...absolutely enjoyable, was a great stay with great weather. we will definetly come back. If you love the beach, rent a car! We have been once to los christianos/ las americas, its just a 10-15 min drive. We really appreciated being a bit apart from all the strong toursim rush and stress.
We really enjoyed it and would recommend it if you dont like to be in the heart of the tourism-center.
We were given a superb spacious room on the 2nd floor with views of Mt Teide to the right, the beautifully kept golf course to the front and the sea and harbour to the left. The DAILY cleaners (we stayed 9 days) were excellent and the entire hotel was absolutely spotless, always. There is not a huge amount to do in Golf del Sur in Feb/March but the hotel courtesy bus to and from Cristianos and Americas every day was brilliant. You just need to book the day before. I imagine that at more busy times it would get filled up quite quickly. We were able to jump on the bus and spend the day wandering around these two resorts which are much more lively. We didn't experience the hotel entertainment but the team were ever present, fun and enthusiastic, always dressed up in costumes in the dining room. All the staff members that we encountered were friendly, helpful and efficient.
The food in the Handicap 0 restaurant was excellent. Very varied and very plentiful. I am a fussy vegetarian and even I always found plenty to eat at every meal. The only slight criticism was that some of the food wasn't always as hot as it could be, but that was probably a question of timing!
Well worth a mention is the brilliant Wild Geese bar/restaurant which is only a few hundred yards from the hotel. There is live music every evening there (some OK, some awful and some very good) as well as all the sport and very good and plentiful food. The staff there are second to none!

It's the second time I've stayed at this hotel. It's cheap but comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's just outside El Medano, so you can walk into the town in five or 10 minutes but you're still outside the busiest area of the resort.
There had been a couple of improvements since my last stay. There's now free WiFi in the rooms. And the evening entertainment (karaoke etc), which used to be in the bar, has been moved to a separate club downstairs. That means you can avoid it if you want to and you won't be able to hear it from your room.
The staff were great. I had a problem on my last night: there was a noisy couple in the room next door to me who had brought some speakers with them and had their music on really loud when I was trying to sleep. When I complained to reception, they dealt with it straight away. Even though the couple seemed to think they could do what they wanted, the hotel staff were having none of it - and they didn't give up until the music was off altogether. I was really impressed with the way they handled it.
My only slight criticism is that I thought the room could have done with a really thorough clean. It was largely clean - in fact I'd say that was one of the strengths of the whole hotel - but there were a few corners where dirt had started to build up. It looked like the room was getting a reasonable clean every day but still needed a really deep clean every once in a while.
