“Nice hotel in convenient location”

Visited this hotel mid-October 2011. Service good, buffet breakfasts had plenty of choice although we got told off on the first morning for not having found a table before we got our food. Swimming pool lovely, liked the fact that no reservations of sunbeds was allowed, towels were taken away if people put them out before pool was open. Only downsides - room safes had to be paid for and although the site said a laundry service was available we had to go to hotel across the road (had chance to be nosey in the hotel though). Recommend Medieval evening at San Miguel and trip to Puerto de la Cruz for the swimming lagoon (approx 3.50 euros all day).

“Recommended”

This hotel is one of the nice ones I've been to with my family with two kids. Stay for 6 nights and we were welcomed by a nice lobby/wine bar area. Reception was friendly and the location is fine. Ideal location for beaches within walking distances to Fanabe and Torvisca beaches. Limited parking spaces within the hotel but I was able to find a space within and outside of hotel, all walking distance. The room is clean, spacious and plenty of room for family of 4. Plenty of towels and two wash basin which helps. Live music on every night at front of hotel until midnight. So if you want quiet nights, then request rooms at back of hotel. I recommend rooms starting 201. Swimming pool was big enough and plenty of loungers to go around so no need to reserve them by placing your towels which staff will remove. Nightly entertainment for kids and adults. Like the noon check out which gives you time to have breakfast and then go back to pack. Also like the luggage room for storing baggages, and a shower/changing room if you fancy a swim for a late flight departure. Only booked breakfast, which was buffet. Plenty go round and they always replenish food. Fry up, pancakes, patisseries, rolls, cold and hot, fruit and drinks all there, cant complain. I would recommend a a nice little place to eat on the Fanabe beach/promenade called the 'Loch Ness'. I find that;s one of the best food, good value and goo service. There are a lot of returning regulars. Overall, good hotel, free wifi

“Our second visit”

This was our second visit to this hotel and would happily return for a 3rd time. We had just bed and breakfast because we prefer to be free during the day and to vary our evening meal venue. However food in the hotel was available for lunch and evening meals with a good variety both, served buffet style and picnic food was also available.

“if it was`nt for the steep hill to the beach,it would have been wonderful”

first time we have been to tenerife, and fanabe was a clean new resort but you just cant get away from the hill,although the beach was`nt far about 500mtrs it was down a very steep hill which of course you have to come backup it. the hotel was fab,very clean ,friendly and the food was wonderful.the animation team were unbelievable,working from 10 am till 11 pm and they seemed to enjoy it kept everyone going.so although we can`t fault the hotel we wont be returning because of the location.

“maybe three stars...”

I would rate this hotel about three stars. The desk staff were able to give me lots of info in English, but refused to give me a receipt on checkout because I'd paid in advance (this is a pain for claiming business expenses!). Breakfast buffet selection was very good. The lounge music in the lobby bar in the evening was horrendous, but it seemed fairly typical in Tenerife with the aging clientele. Price was right and the location was good. Internet was free but only available in the lobby. I suspect the bedding was a bit dusty and could use a good cleaning; people with allergies may have issues.

“ON ETOUFFE UN PEU”

Hotel trop concentré sur lui-même. Ces bâtiments entourant la piscine dans un carré très serré est à la limite "étouffant". Pas assez d'espace, de jardins bref d'aération autour des ses blocs.

“Hotel Fanabe Costa Sur, très bon qualité prix !!”

Je viens tout juste de rentrer de 2 semaine de Hotel Fanabe Costa Sur et j'ai passé de très bonnes vacances, je connaissais les Canaries mais pas la Costa adeje ! je fut agréablement surpris tout d abord l'hôtel est un hôtel familiale, on retrouve pas mal d'enfant, en effet l'hôtel possède un club pour enfant très correcte. l'hôtel possède la piscine au rez de chaussé et aussi 2 piscines sur le toit (beaucoup plus tranquille) La restauration est correcte et copieuse ( ce qui n'est pas le cas de tout les hôtels) je suis très satisfait du restaurant !! seul bémol a certaine heure le restaurant est bondé de monde !! mais il y a tjr un serveur pour vous trouver une place !! La propreté est au rendez vous ! les femmes de ménage insiste même pour vous faire la chambre (c'est vous dire!). La situation est pas mal ! l'hôtel se situe a 800 m des plages en effet il y a la possibilité de descendre sur le bords de mer de deux façon la ère est une plage dite classique, l'autre une plage beaucoup plus huppé avec un centre commercial avec grande marque de luxe.. pour finir l'hôtel Hotel Fanabe Costa Sur est un très bonne hôtel que je recommande vivement c'est une valeur sur !!

“Hotel Fanabe costa Sur”

Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Wij moesten de terugweg omboeken door de aswolk en we konden in het hotel online boeken en de tickets hebben ze netjes voor ons uitgeprint! Hotel was erg schoon er werd goed gepoetst. De kinderen hebben het ook erg naar hun zin gehad en vonden de minidisco en shows erg leuk. Het eten was ook goed. Iedere dag volop keus. Ook waren de prijzen van de drankjes goed betaalbaar (vooral de wijn!) Alleen jammer dat er weinig Nederlandse kinderen waren om mee te spelen. Maar wel zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.
